I'll settle for 4 if there's a shortage. Monkey has completed his car. it's (i heard) as silent as a tomb now. So he won't need any.

I've ordered 30 already. Rtech and I will share 6 somehow and I'll give you 24. I'll take 2 for the rear deck and boot for now. He can have 4 sheets.
If I know Rtech well, he will first damp one area, check the result and then ask me to order some more later.

Understood but I'm going to repeat my earlier question again. Do I need to damp the rear doors even though there are no speakers mounted on them? My rear speakers are mounted on the parcel shelf in the OE slot.

I'm going to do the Front Doors & Trunk Lid for sure (Spoiler & C-Pillar area too if needed) but wanted to clarify if the rear doors need to be done too.

the numbers are dwindling! 8 - 4 - 3! Lol! No worries though. Maybe I'll just deal with the front doors first and see how much of a difference it makes.

Anything that resonates should be damped.

Like I sid before the making of a good ICE enviroment involves damping components that vibrate, deading panels that vibrate and isolation from external noises.

A good damping job would involve more than just Wurth or American Dynamics sheets. It would involve underbody coating, firewall and engine compartment treatment etc.. as well.

Understood. Will ask my installer to do a good, thick underboady coating & some extra carpeting sicne the car is about to go to him for some work. Then I'll damp the boot & front doors first, if need be & if I have some sheet left over I'll do the rear doors too.

No the reason for this was we were looking at those who would be in mumbai (we cheapskates want to save on shipping). Rags is in delhi and so that does not help.

Rags why not see if you can muster up some Delhi wallas and maybe Sam can make an order for you guys there too. Just make ysure everyone who orders is committed to paying for it. At Rs. 1400 per sheet it is not exactly cheap but it looks like VFM nonetheless.

One reason I am taking this over Wurth is that Wurth is stiffer and 2 people have told me this. The stiffer the products the more difficult it is to apply. I have not seen Fonomat or Edead (only Dynamat and Extreme).

Navin Ji I have used Wurth and it is wurth every penny.....it is not so stiffer.....easily bend even when not heated.....and quite soft when heated with a heat gun.....and fixes quite good......
