Just spoke to Wuerth India Private Limited, they told me for a full car it will cost me Rs. 2500 excluding installation charges. Is it worth it.

What is the full cost of damping using Dynamat??

I was wondering the same, i asked him and he said that it is enough to damp the sound in the car and these sheets are specifically made for this purpose. What is the thickness of Dynamat and what is the cost of the same?

2 mm is not thin, guys. If you have the space for 9 mm, insert an MDF sheet.

Thanx LBM for the pics. What is the installation charge to do a whole car (Say a Swift) and how much did you get your Wurth for?? How many sheets did you use?? And how is the damping.

I have called the guy for a demo, he will be coming tomorrow, so will post more after seeing the demo.

Lol: how are you going to damp the whole car with 6 pieces of that?

Here is one sheet of American dynamic which we plan to use for one door, in red, vs, the size given by you of the wuerth, in yellow.

You will need about 3 boxes of that. Or Navin will need 6 boxes per car to achieve the same result.

Hence my original question: What do they define full car as? Coz 6 sheets of that will not cover much area!

Installation charges.....free....as I have DIY myself......Till now I have done the front two doors only....and I have used 3 feet x 1.5 feet (36 inch x 18 inch) two sheets per door......

I got it from B&T.....for how much.....that he can tell.....

very good.....and the sound is quite good and nice........
