The New Alto limited edition Xcite has got the remote boot opener as a standard fitment. I think the whol assembly can be picked As-Is from it and fitted in any variant by some tweaks.

What do you mean by whole assembly?

We(who have recently got it done) have same setup as the new Xcite would have.

@samsag, there is a different thread altogether for this. I would not know when you can get it done at Lucknow. I got the parts from Opera house here in Mumbai and the fitment was a DIY

Hi Please refer to following post for part number details

The cost break-up with the exact part nos. is as follows,

83310M76G50 ---> Lever ---> Rs. 41.95/-
83350M79G20 ---> Cable ---> Rs. 92.68/-
82650M79G00 ---> Striker ---> Rs. 31.05/-
Gross Total ---> Rs. 165.68/-
Add Taxes ---> Rs. 20.71/-
Net Total ---> Rs. 186.00/-

This would be useful for all of us for procuring the right parts.

I have noticed one thing, the MRP mentioned on these parts covers is a bit higher than the actual invoiced cost. Even if we go by MRP the cost comes around Rs. 230/-
