Well if it looks clear you may as well leave it. If you find some channels are unclear then you call the tatasky chaps.

Your signal strength is on the lower side whereas quality is fine. Is this everyday? try on a slightly clearer day to see if it improves. if it doesn't then you should call them.

Just took tatasky for the second room as well. got a call within an hour of buying the settop box for installation tomorrow.

There's an offer for the second connection. Installation is Rs.500. First 90 days free. After that Rs.100 per month for the second connection.

yup looks all true to me. but I guess if you compare with the local operator it's more or less the same.

does your local operator in your area allow you to subscribe to another operator?

Anytime you change a house the local operator in your new area will charge you installation charges.

DTH menu skips viewer choice

If you thought installing DTH meant having a wider choice, think again. Harking back to the straitjacketed days of cable TV, India’s DTH service providers restrict choice to one—or at best, two—service packages, making the estimated 2.3 million subscribers pay for channels they may not want to watch. Tata Sky, the newest entrant, has bundled all its 116 channels in a single offer of Rs 300 a month. The consumer has neither the choice of reducing nor adding to the number of channels. India’s largest DTH player Dish TV has two packages: Rs 210 a month for 85 channels or Rs 240 a month for 110 channels.....

And TRAI has said that it is not going to look into this for now. What a shame !!!! I hope Sun TV brings out some good offers.
