One thing i was hoping for from the 4G was something sexy like edge-to-edge screen or something innovative in terms of the form factor. I guess not.

But seriously who would want to run a different OS on iPhone hardware?! Its the user experience of the OS that is a killer feature on the otherwise boring hardware!

The only plus point would be no headaches with unlocking and jailbreaking.

How convenient, left at a bar for someone to find. The guy who found it was drunk and couldn't explore in detail the features and went to sleep. Through the night apple magically bricked the phone remotely. So now they have the physical phone but no way to know the features/upgrades.

Amazing build up I must say.

To top it off apple sent an official letter to Gizmodo saying it was indeed their iphone prototype and they wanted it back.

I mean how fishy does that sound.

That too with apple who are known to be ultra secretive about their new releases.

Yes. This whole things seems well orchestrated.

The main thing about Apple is that they will definitely play a catch-up game with others w.r.t features/hardware. But, when it comes to software and making everything work together well, no one can beat them.

I have that 16GB 2G phone since 2+ years, and my only upgrade will be another iPhone. You get so used to this darned thing...

The IPhone 4G. This looks much better than the last one. Courtesy Gizmodo.

Not exactly an iPhone pro, looking to get one but a bit of a noob when it comes to rain, snow and other such weather conditions. Looking for help from you guys.

If I get a phone from the USA which is a 3G S and is currently locked to AT&T and running on 3.1.3, can I unlock it here and use it on Vodafone?

BTW, not interested in the upcoming one. So this is the only option.

No mate. As things stand, iPhone 3GS with firmware 3.13 and baseband 5.12.01 is unlockable. I am also in the same boat.

Do you mean unlockable or un-unlockable?

Apart from the fact that the software and interface is pretty much the same as iphone. Iphone is the good old iphone. But thank god i bought phone with same interface. If i had bought some windows mobile phone i would have been crying like anything.

How did you like X10 Car-e-ok? Care to share a brief experience? I am looking forward to buy X10 once it comes with Andriod 2.xx update. Heck, what a sexy phone it is (look wise), probably the best I have ever seen! Congrats on your new toy.

Didn't fail me to impress, same as Blackra1n, a very quick JB. Quenches the long thirst for 3.1.3 firmware jailbreak. Thank you.

Is this just a jailbreak or also an UNLOCK ? Can I bring back a 3.1.3 3G S from USA and unlock?
