Hi AZA,

Can I transfer the application using the USB cable to my phone and run it from there? I saw this autolock software on my websites. Is it safe to install this?

One of my company clients is developing a antivirus for this S60 platform. But it may take about 6 months to be released.

mail4ajo,

There are few antivirus softwares available like F-secure,Norton.
You can copy paste *.sis file to Memory card and than install from phone itself.

mail4ajo: as mugen said fsecure, norton are already making antivirus s/w for S60 phones so dont worry go right ahead and install it.

Also just to be on the safer side avoid keeping your bluetooth on and visible. if you have to keep your BT on for headset then set ur BT to invisible.

Thanks a lot Mugen and Aza. I presume these softwares all come at a cost. Where can I safely source these? What is the best way to update them incase I am not able to connect through GPRS?

Good tip. Will keeping my phone invisible protect me from incoming viruses?I have heard on some versions of S60, virus just barge in without authentication. Is this true?

mail4ajo,

Right now dont worry so much about viruses.

If you will set your phone invisible than it will help your phone to protect from bluetooth viruses.

Does mobile phone dealers in your cities demo the actual phone when you go to buy? In Hyderabad, they just show a dummy model and say that's it. Even it's the same case when i bough my phone worth 45K. I am talking about authorized dealers. It's been more than 6 years since i bought a phone in grey market. We have to rely purely on other users reviews and internet before deciding a phone. Once, i bought a just out model and that was the worst phone i ever had.

Hi N_C,

I am using the E61 for about 6 months, and am very satified with it. Loads of features; and it hadn't hanged even once.

Ok, I am back in the hunt. N73 is a great phone, but it too big for me, I am sick of carrying the phone in my hand all the time. I want something really small that can fit into jeans pocket.

I want a really small clam shell phone with MP3 player, MP3 ringtone, EDGE, HTML browsing. None of these items are negotiable. So, please don't suggest bar or slide phones, I already made one mistake, not again. I need a phone to fit my style, and not something that alters my style.
