From your description this seems to be the equivalent of a imate K-JAM as it does not feature 3G.

The K-JAM is kind of old here - I dont know about the US. The JASJAM with 3G and all the above features + more is the new version.

Samsung 1 GB S-SIMTM Techtree Test Labs Email Print Nov 12, 2006The Samsung S-SIMTM is making it possible to have memory on your phone even without the possibility of the phone having a memory card slot. The S-SIMTM is basically a SIM card, which doubles as a 1 GB storage card. That makes it no ordinary SIM card but will help making a standard phone with music player support and no card slot for an MP3 player.

The memory used will be the NAND flash memory with the traditional SIM; no changes to the size at all. This innovation will surely secure Samsung's title as the pioneers in new technologies. The cards aren't in production as yet and are being showcased at the Carte's 2006 show in Paris.

Hi Guys,

I have a Nokia N70 and i want to upgrade my memory card to atleast 512 though i am thinking of going in for a 1 GB.. Currently i have original 128MB which came with the phone.

Now any N70 users over here can share their experience with a bigger memory card ? Which company card to go for and cost ?

Thanks.

abhibh,

In my city 512 Mb NCP is for 650 and 1 Gb NCP is for 1100. But you should have to go for Kingston or Microsim.

Hands-free

I have the SE w300i. I am looking to get a decent hands-free device, to be used primarily, whilst driving.

Any suggestions on the model specs and the price.
I reside in Mumbai.

HI
IM using a 1 gb card on my n70 , i can vouch for the card that there is absolutely no lag or slowing of operations and can be really handy in storing good videos and music. my advice - go for it! Im using a advance quality soulutions mmc (costed me abt 1400 INR) , but purchased in dubai.

Should i get the w950i

Happy new year to everyone

I already have a nokia n91 Which i am very happy with.
I dont want to get an mp3 player and a phone so i need a phone with 4gb memory for music while i am on the move.
So the question is should i get the w950i ?
Though i am extremely happy withe the n91 i am kind of bored of it so i dont want to get the 8gb n91 because it is more or less the same as the n91 with more memory thats it (correct me if i am mistaken)
I used the n91 for nearly 8 months(longest i have ever used the same phone)
So is the w950i worth USD 600 (close to that )
Has anyone used it yet ???

The w950i is a pretty good phone. Only "con" about it ,is that it doesnt have a camera.
The audio is MUCH better than the n91,and if you're a power user, the phone comes with opera 8 as the default browser.
If you think you can get used to the UIQ operating system and dont mind the high price and lack of camera, i'd say its a pretty okay purchase.
