Yes they are huge and weigh almost 12kgs,even lbm has them audition it at his house, but this is not as important what is important is that it delivers good quality sound across all frequencies in fact even in the lower frequencies .Yes it has a wireless remote.
@Elito -I have not heard the fx6021 but it does not have any mid range drivers and yes it is about 2 grand more expensive than the mx.And yes the friend of mine who you met at the meet was fuelled a.k.a akrant .

SWANS from HiVi anyone?

Does anyone use SWANS here? Supposedly audiophile, D1080, M200 and T200 have been rated the best multimedia speakers in many major expos. These 2.0 bookshelves are active monitors and weighs upwards of 20 pounds! A friend has the M200MKII (~$200) and they rock!

Audioengine is SUPPOSEDLY very very good. Though currently they are availaible only in mumbai. However u can order online for any part of india.

The standard config or bookshelf speakers as they are known is A5 which costs 18K for a pair (2.0)

They have a premium desktop version called the A2 which is avalaible for 10K (2.0). An A5 would be an ideal upgrade from MX5021 IMO. Though A2 is anywaz rated above than MX (offcourse they are two diffrent segments!).

They have not responded to my mail, the phone numbers on the website do not work . On bajao.com they are availaible at 10k +shipping. shipping in mumbai is free!

I WANT them..just dunno where to find them in delhi!!!!!!!!!

OT: Can somebody pllllllz tell a place in delhi where i can get all/most models of LCD monitors!! No one place i have visited had a good enough collection!!

Elito

EDIT: reason for not ordering online - shipping+no demo+fear of damages+ i suspect on a personal basis..i might get a discount..as thier going rate in US is <200 USD!

Hi,

Am using the Altec Lansing ATP3 for my room computer since the past 2 years and does the job very well. Recently installed the FX 5051 in my hall as a cheap home theatre option and does the job very well.

Its connected to my TV and DVD player as well as can connect my Ipod to it. Very good VFM product for someone who wants a home theatre on a budget.
