| ![]() I am considering buying pixel 4a 5g (hoping to get it via a relative who is in the US currently). I compared the bands support with pixel 4a, indian variant (non-5g) and it seems the 5g has all and few more 4g bands than the non-5g one. So i guess 5g one would work just fine in 4g mode in india. Am i right in assuming that? Should i get it? The main attraction is the more powerful chipset (765g) + ultra wide angle camera on that |

Bought Samsung F62 today. All my criteria were met except for 90hz refresh rate but that's a compromise I can do for super amoled plus display. Bought the 8Gb Ram and 128 GB storage variant. Flipkart is giving 2.5k instant cashback on icici cards. Got it from Samsung Shop app as they were giving extra 1000 discount on top of 2.5k. Effective price was 22.5k instead of 26k. Pretty good deal in my opinion. Main attractions were 9825 processor and 7000 mah battery. Along with a pretty good camera, Android 11 with One UI 3.1 it was a no brainer. Will be delivered in couple of days so will update again with the user experience.

Update on previous post. Ordered F62 yesterday afternoon from Samsung Shop app. Received msg on whatsapp at 4pm of it being packed. At 8 pm it had been shipped with delivery date of 25 Feb. Today morning at 9am got call from delivery agent and pleasantly phone was delivered so early. Excellent service all around from Samsung shop app and I am glad i didn't ordered from flipkart. Took me around 3 hours to switch all data from A50 and set it up fully. Initial impressions- 1. Gorgeous display. I can say atleast 30% improvement over A50 display which is Amoled too. 60Hz don't feel like a disadvantage due to snappy processor and beautiful display. 2. No lag even when I had opened atleast 40 apps simultaneously. 3. Very good camera so far. Big improvement over A50. 4. Very good battery life. Even at 75% brightness will easily get 7 hours minimum screen on time. 5. Android 11 and One UI 3.1 are a delight to use. I had tried M51 at Croma earlier and F62 is much better in all departments. FYI, if anyone orders it, do order the case online itself as offline accessories for this phone aren't available right now. Last edited by harry10 : 23rd February 2021 at 19:06.

| ![]() What is a realistic expectation for launch of 5G In India in Metro Cities? Just trying to validate this to decide if it is worth spending more for a 5G Phone? We already learnt here that OnePlus is selling "fake" 5G phones with the Nord and few other models. The Samsung F62 looks like a good bet but I dropped it due to lack of 5G and thinking to go for the Realme X7 Pro with Dual 5G Capabilities and multiple 5G Bands on it. |

But it seems like F62 is identical to M51 in terms of size and weight. I do not think there will be any major differences between the two for moderate usage. I went with M51 because it has been in the market for many months now and overall reviews are favorable i.e. it is a tried and tested product.

| ![]() F62 will get the same updates. Primary reason I went with Samsung is their fast updates where One plus is seriously lacking. Don't worry about the processor. It's super fast. I will suggest check out both at a nearby Croma or reliance digital and then make your mind. |

| ![]() I meant in terms of software experience and battery life. Generally the Snapdragon equipped phones will have better batter life in the long term and also the user experience is slightly better. |

Also, F62 has 7000 mah battery. Yesterday I got 8 hours and 25 min Screen on time and phone still had 30% battery left. Forgot to take screenshot. Will do it next time. Plus the processor is flagship from 2 years back so I don't see it degrading much in couple of years.

| ![]() My one year old Galaxy M30s has gone off suddenly. It had about 60% charge at the time. I had used it just a few minutes before that. I am unable to start it. I have tried the standard force start procedures - pressing and holding power button, presing and holding power+volume button etc. Any ideas from experts? |

| ![]() Posting the screenshot of battery usage. Screen on time is 5 hours and 40 minutes and phone still has 50% battery left. Phenomenal battery backup and better than what I expected. |
