You are correct that S-OFF and bootloader are different. The link I have sent you has steps to S-Off once you have unlocked boot loader. Then you can root and install whatever ROM you wish.

S-off on my Dinc2 (AlphaRevXBeta which is now revolutionary.io) and Unlock Bootloader in Wildfire S. Let me go further back, htc S-off used to be from unrevoked!

What the first link allows is to use either of the two and then load CM7.

With CM9 (ICS) on Dinc2 it seems that S-off will have to be undone, to load it!

I am playing it using Bluetooth and it is working fine. I think you need to click on one of the USB sharing option for it to work. Kindly try that.

If you are talking about simtel shop try to get some accesories with it. They always give some offer. Or else you can take from sangeetha. They have gifts and free dth connection and all that. Id suggest avoid the rest.

Regards

As for the apps, there was a separate thread earlier but later it was merged with this one. Try searching here. Google can help too.

Just one thing, do look at the permissions an app asks for before installing.

I picked it up for 21.5 k.

I did not get any pointers to my older post; anyway, after spending a couple of hours at Croma yesterday evening. Now I am confused between these two models.

1. Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance
2. Motorola ATRIX 2

Head2Head comparison

Anyone using ATRIX 2? Any reason why I should avoid this phone over the Samsung one?
I did feel that it was a heavier. Other than that; I felt the screen quality was more or less the same; in spite of it being just LCD compared the Samsung have S-AMOLED.

PS: HTC One series price has gone up; 2 weeks back One V was available at 16.5 now it is 18.5.

Something newer and much better albeit a little more expensive is the Sony Xperia P.

From the specs it's pretty close to Samsung Galaxy S2 but price wise is 3K more than the Atrix 2.

I did check Xperia P out, it did have a nice bright and big screen. But I think I moved it aside cuz it had lower spec battery, and I felt it might not last a whole day.

Will have one more look at that today. I think Croma was retailing it at 24699 or 24999.
