Not piracy, just thinking like a lawyer - getting the most out of loopholes. Not exactly ethical, but prove to me that he's wrong. Unless the EULA actually specifies that one cant link to the same account. I'm sure none of us actually RT(F)M.

No, infibeam has no stock of White MMX A110 for the last few days. I rechecked.

Croma Indiranagar and Koramangala [IRR] don't have it. Called their CS and they confirmed no store has stock of MMX A110.

Last night I checked Flipkart and they have the white A110 back in stock and I wasted no time in booking one. Thanks for your help in sharing the info you had.

Also, Saholic seems to have stock but I wasn't confident with the site and they had no COD.

Why pay when it just takes 5 minutes a month to re-install?
The Stock Exchange mail client will not allow me to access the phone without a PIN (enforced by my organization). Touchdown allows me to access everything without a pin on the phone except the exchange mail. Massive convenience.

Rooted! Now What?

I just rooted my Galaxy S3. It was running on Jelly Bean but was very slow and was hanging, compared to the stock ICS.

How do I install other versions of Android now and which ones are better?

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

I downloaded Kies and backup up everything and then rooted through Odin using this link: http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/mobile-pho...y-s3-50008588/

What is hard reset? I am keen to install something better than the Jelly Bean on my phone.

Once you have rooted, all you need to do is head over to XDA developers.

This is the sub-forum for S III: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1563

Now, navigate to the 'S III ROM development' or 'S III Official ROM development', browse through the numerous ROM's and choose the one you prefer. Flashing tutorials will be available on that page. Check out Paranoid Android if you want to try out a different UI.

Something better than Jellybean? Keep us posted if you find something

BTW, Anyone running Paranoid Android's JB version? How is your experience with it? Especially the phablet/tablet interface it offers on a phone?

IMHO if you like the application so much and if it's helping you so much , then you should buy it. Believe me, owning a licensed app definitely feels good :-) I admit I too try pirated apps, but just for sake of testing if a trial version is not available. I tried Enhanced email for a month or so before buying it finally. Support the developers! On a side note how you find the idea of reinstalling the application every month to be an easy task? I simply can't think of resyncing my entire contact list and a month of mails I usually keep every month :-)

Completely agree on paying for apps, esp productivity ones. I mean, more often that note, we spend hundreds if not thousands for impulsive meals. Yet a couple of hundreds on apps freak so many of us out!

Managed to root my S3 finally and based on the recommendation here, installed Paranoid Android. It's been booting for about 20 minutes and the phone is beginning to seriously heat up. Hope it boots up soon. Will post the detailed experience in a bit.

Most probably it is a boot-loop. A phone like S3 won't take 20 minutes to build up the Dalvik! Once you get Paranoid Android working, do post a review about it. I am planning to flash it soon.

My Nexus duo. Notice the real estate on the phone's screen with 240 dpi. (Default was 320 dpi)

I too agree on paying for apps that is of value to you. I have paid so far for several apps like Quick Office, Swiftkey, Launcher7, SmartTools and some more. Definitely going to pay for Whatsapp once my trial is over.

Well you need to somehow stop it, by removing battery(?) and try to attempt another boot after clearing cache & dalvik.
