Thanks Karthik, but I do not think ' is a valid character in an email id, so I am using marius.dlima@fiat.com.

Interesting, yahoo does not accept it as a valid email id. So I sent it without the ' character and the mail has not bounced so far..

sorry about going off topic guys.

I think Amit is right about the availabilty of Fiat spares. An year ago, i had a problem with the brake oil cyclinder (shares with the clutch too). There was a leakage and it was completely drained out when i left the car in service center for more than 10 days for a denting job. The service guys asked me to wait for another week to get the spare part. I gave them an ultimatum till evening. I got a call with in two hours that the part was replaced.

Long live Fiat....

i don't understand the big deal abt spare parts (specially for mumbaiites). i have a 7-yr old Matiz, and i have never come across a spare part that is not available at opera house. and generally it is at a fraction of the cost at dealership. i guess, people are simply used to getting their car serviced from dealerships that they do not know the outside world. that's why fiat's poor 'a s s' is not such a -ve thing for me.

Exactly my thoughts Minardi. Genuine spares are available outright in Opera house in factory packed boxes and at a cheaper rate too! I have seen loads of Fiat spares available. You need to ensure that you go to the right place to pick these.

*yet another big boring stretched yawn....* Saw 2 more white ones on the way to office. Looks like they want to increase their road presence. This way, Fiat will create more prototype cars than production ones.
