Dont worry nbr. Its the same manufacturer who treats people as guinea pigs that FIAT has aligned with now. Now wait for the perfect FIAT !!

The inteview in 15 Feb HT states that Fiat engines(1.3 JTD?) will be available from end 2007 and G.Punto from mid 2008. Does this mean Palios and Indicas will get JTD earlier? The same HT edition has an ad for Palio 1.6 sport without any addresses of dealers. Called Shaman in Worli. They don't have any idea whether this 1.5 will be facelifetd version. Fiat is playing their cards too close to chest!

I feel that Adventure looks much better the way it is now. The interiors though need a change.

So.....they've ruined it.What a mess.I have eaten fusion food before, this is the first time i'm seeing a fusion car.A bad bad wannabe grande punto looking palio. The first palio was good. The second generation probably the best. But from then on, they have unnecessarily tampered with the genuine italian lines of the car.And each time they've tampered with it,they've made it look worse. But this is worst yet really. The rear now looks very similar to that of the facelifted brazilian version of the fiat uno.
The mark III that we are expecting here in a few weeks still looks acceptable in comparison to the new one.

OK, this one looks better than the one supposed to be launched in India (the one of which the spy pics have been posted).

I especially find the rear to be better (but not as good as the current, outgoing one) as the number plate has been shifted back to the bumper where it belongs. Even the front looks better -- more aggressive than the goody-two-shoes look of the "new" Palio of which we've seen spy pics.

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer the interiors of the current, outgoing Palio. Better plastics for the dash would be welcome, but the basic flowing shape, and the driver oriented design of the current Palio are what I find more appealing.

A friend has Spotted the new fiat palio on pune roads[sorry no pics],he says it was slightly disguised but look very much like the chilean palio[ones in rodrallys posts]http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/375867-post151.html

So the palio should be out pretty soon I guess.Time for sajo, tushky to provide us some pics.

This has so much better interiors than the one presently available in India. I do not have much to comment about looks, always subjective. The rear curves near wheel wells look like they have been cut off. Overall it seems like a better car.
