I'm speaking about the whole assembly (left side) from Maruti Genuine Spares outlet in Trivandrum. Right side assembly costs more. Did you get the quote for left side or right side? Ask the guy who gave the quote if he checked the price for left or right.

Can any Alto owner tell me the price of condenser unit for 2009 Alto? A friend wanted one and apparently local shop gave him quote of some foreign made for 2.5K and Genuine for 3.5K.

Is it possible for Indigo XL Dicor (LWB)? Indigo XL Dicor has independent rear suspension.
A local mechanic advised me not to go for it as it does not last long and also is ineffective.

I had my 2005 Getz GLE serviced at 72,000 kms by Advaith Hyundai (Bannerghatta Rd). Helpful SA - Bharat Shetty.

I had a rattle coming from the engine, around the AC compressor area. This rattle would be noticeable on a cold start, during idle and running. Once the engine warmed up, it would go away. The SA identified it as a case of the timing belt tensioner getting weak, and recommended a change of the tensioner, and associated belts. As is standard at HASS, I was provided with the old items.

Apart from that, I just did the usual servicing (or as HASS hilariously refers to - the "PMS" - periodic maintenance service).

Being an out of production car, they sometimes have a delay in procuring parts. In this case, they had stock of everything, so no problems (I assume that commonality with the Getz Prime helped here). Previously, when I replaced my headlamp unit, it took them 2 days to get it sent from Mobis Chennai.

AC compressor - They have two types of compressor, so it depends on which one your car is fitted with. the prices are 27K and 37K,
Power window switch is for 3500/- (The one on the driver side door)
Rear view mirror 1400/- for internally adjustable one, 2400 for electronic one and 5400 for the one which has a chrome finish and indicator integrated in it.

Could anyone please share the price list of i20's parts. I have replaced the front grill and bumper which costs 6000 including tax, labour and painting. I am particularly interested in knowing the cost of electrically folding mirrors.

Don' t know the price of i20' mirror but to give you a hint the but the rear veiw mirror for fluidic verna costs Rs5400.

Also wanted to share the price for wiper blades for fluidic verna which costs Rs1600.

Today a bike guy cut across my Liva and don't know what he did probably just touches my LHS rear view mirror the plastic shell casing behind the mirror just flew out. Called up the dealer Lanson motors they quote Rs1200 just for the plastic shell. Breakup is Rs.700 for the case and then painting and labour charges. They tell the total cost of the manually operated mirror costs 3200. Now who says Toyota is cheap? They are fleecing for Liva. Imagine the plight of corolla and innova with unruly bike riders in india.
