TDI AT Owners in Bangalore, how much mileage are you getting in typical Bangalore Traffic with a light foot?
I drive 80% of my 14Km commute in Outer Ring Road with a start at 8AM form home and 6PM from office, all I could manage is 11 KM/litre. Is this normal?
On the other hand on an early Sunday morning I managed to get 17 KM/litre on the same stretch

I travel from Marathahalli to EGL (about 8 KMs) in peak traffic - takes about 45 minutes to an hour

. Gets an average of 11-13 Km per litre on tankful to tankful. This includes some weekend drives in the city also when the traffic is not that bad.

I have the Skoda Rapid but I guess that too can qualify for this question. I get similar mileage as you mention in Bangalore. It looks like the DSG is more sensitive than others to the traffic conditions. Maybe it has to do with more gears too - the mileage is not that good in bad traffic but improves tremendously when it is sparse.

Just got home vento tdi dsg in reflex silver.The best part is that it now comes with upgraded 6.5 inches touch screen with apple car play and android auto. Rest upgraded to 205/55r16 Michelin P3ST tyres.

Will post some pictures soon.

Congratulations mate! One question though, won't the suspension warranty be void as yiu have upgraded the tire size? I heard VW are very strict on all this?

Congratulations on the car. Did you face any issue of tyre scraping the wheel arch as 205/55 is quite huge and that too now with 16 inch alloys. How is the driving experience? Can you share more please?

Maybe, their next edition will have a frikkin flower pot in the dashboard - GREEN initiative.

Can you please confirm if your car came with reverse camera? genopv in his thread has mentioned Polo highline plus did not come with the reverse camera. Wanted to check how it is with respect to Vento TSi. Will be a glaring omission if VW did this!

Latest brochure(Aug-2017) does mention reverse camera for highline plus.
W.R.T Polo, it never had reverse camera in any variant, probably they omitted for the same reason.

Sorry for the late reply.I bought VW vento tdi dsg highline plus and it has reverse camera as well as 6.5" touch screen music system that supports apple CarPlay and android auto.

The latest skoda rapid top model has now 4 airbags as well what I read in another thread so I guess next updated lot of vento highline plus will have the same as well.

Kindly let me now if you have any another query.

so this is the best ive got on my VW vento tsi so far. This was on the mumbai pune expressway, average speeds were between 70-90 kmph. In Mumbai city i usually clock between 8-13km/L so this was a pleasant surprise and the entire expressway run gave me a rough mileage of 20/21 km/L.
I remember having done the same journey when the car was 3 months old and had returned the highest figures of 18kmp/L then. I suppose running in does make a difference and so does a light foot and moderate speed. Thats the tough part with a tsi dsg
