City's overall color palette is boring and limited. The brown is among the better colors. But looks less shiny over the period of ownership time. The metallic tinge fazes out. Not that other colors are any better. Maintenance wise it would still be a better pick. Darker shades are easy to touch up compared to lighter ones.

My City is this colour and looks fantastic. However 7 months later I wonder whether I should have picked up the white or silver considering that they do not show up scratches as much as the GB does and would have been much cooler in Chennai summer.

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to buy a City Hybrid and just wanted to know from members whether 205/55/r16 tyre upgrade will result in significant drop in fuel efficiency figures and whether it will affect the suspension setup over longer period of time.

Thanks in advance,
Kushagra

Hey, I also wanted to go for a dark color and since black was not available I was thinking of golden brown. However, went with White due to the following reasons :

Dust Visibility - Even a small amount of dust is clearly visible on dark colors whereas on white even a layer of dust is not that noticeable. As I do not wash my car daily, this is really helpful

Visual Presence - The City looks a bigger car in White I feel and all the cuts and creases are also clearly visible

Have a look at both of them at the same time at a showroom to make your final call

Not available in the City. You'll have to buy a wireless dongle/adapter which also do not a seamless experience.

I have GB. 10 months but 14k km old and have been driven in all the seasons. Still looks glossy. I opted for a high quality ceramic coating. I washed & cleaned it myself till recently once in a week. Last 3 months I have opted for a regular car wash guy. Slightly visible swirl marks are there which I have to get off once in a year with polishing and re-coating after 3 years. The paint hasn't faded a bit due to the coating. Still a head turner even in its mud splashed avtaar...

How loaded was the vehicle? I drove from Nagpur to Pune (720 kms) cruising at 70-80 with 3 passengers and fully loaded trunk (100 KGs), I got a nice mileage of 19.2. When I drive alone on highways cruising at 80 I get at least 21.
Do you have stock tyres or did you upgrade?

This is great, I was searching for it all this time.
I just have one question though, does it work with Apple CarPlay? I checked out the website and I see mentions only for Android Auto.

Hi,

My mileage gets impacted as to get to my home I need to navigate through a lot of city traffic right from Panvel to Borivali.

On my last run I also got stuck in a 20 minutes road block as some repairs were ongoing at belapur.

Is your ZX diesel or petrol ? Mine is Petrol ZX MT

Regards
Diesel

Oh then it makes sense! I misunderstood it as highway mileage. The mileage I quoted was on highway, as soon as I entered Pune (and it was bumper to bumper that day due to heavy rains), the average dropped to 18.

Mine is the same - ZX MT Petrol.

True. on the expressway the FE shown is around 18.5 to 18.7, this varies on the traffic on the Lonavala ghat, however as soon as I hit the city traffic it drops to 18.1.

Your highway fuel efficiency is very good.
