Tata Harrier facelift spotted testing, launch by Diwali.

Any idea on what might be different apart from cosmetic changes? The Dark edition showcased at Auto expo pretty much seems to cover everything that was lacking in the Harrier.
I'm having a hard time deciding whether to go for the Dark edition or wait and see what this facelift brings.

Expect Harrier EV like styling on the outside and Dark Harrier like (not that red colour) interiors

Can we retrofit the new infotainment system ? I own a July 21, Harrier XZA+ DT. Really impressed with the 360 camera and the new infotainment system.

Don't think it is a tough job. They will charge a sum of 25-30k and order a system and retrofit it. The only problem is it has setting for ADAS and they all will be non-functional. All those wiring arising from them will have to be packed aside. Don't know how will the software take it.

Maybe you can ask for a system from Altroz Racer edition and get it fitted once it is launched.

Finally Tata is updating the steering wheel (hopefully the hornpad too) with new switch layout and also electronic gear shifter is coming.

I hope Tata updates the complete dash layout and centre console with proper ergonomics.

Apart from the gear lever, doesn't look like there are big updates in the interiors. May be it might get adaptive cruise control and stop and go feature. Infotainment and the Instrument cluster looks similar to what we are getting in the recent Harrier twins.

IMO, major updates could be front bumper and face, Gear knob, Additional level 2 ADAS features.

Well, it’s about time they shared some switchgear with sibling brands, at least that’s the norm.
Hope to see more good stuff trickle down from JLR to Tata vehicles. Maybe mass produce the Ingenium series (4 pot) engines next in India?

Some taller people might be disappointed to see that they have not fixed the dreaded "sharp silver trim of knee death" at the bottom of the dashboard that fouls with the driver's knee. I have faced this problem myself and have seen many taller car reviewers and BHPians complain about this.
