Guys,
what can Fiat do to improve its brand image.
Also what can they do to make the palio a run away success.
I think they should launch their convertible (i forgot the name. They have stopped making it and they can get their old yes here), Launch a Palio 1.0, 1.7TD, an Uno 1.0, 1.7TD and a Petra 1.7TD.
This is along with the existing models.
And alos introduce some other brands like Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati.

I have also seen new Palio models (the name fails me. what is it - Adventure or Sport?) at the Pune showroom. These models sport sexy alloy wheels (different from the Petra), a smarter looking dash, rear spoilers etc. Didn't pay too much attention to detail though.

To all those who still believe FIAT will shut down?

http://img359.imageshack.us/my.php?image=5a292qh.jpg

I can only believe FIAT MD..becos if FIAT is going to SHUT DOWN ..why they should provide help to all those FIAT owners whose car got damaged in Floods? Its my common sense

Moderators Please close this thread..as this has no relevance at all NOW..

Also..guys when posting please post with some validity in that..do not just post assumptions..

If at all you post.be prepared to answer it also..in a professional way

Offering help to flooded owners does not guarantee a companys existence . Yes, I do agree that they are *trying* but I also accept the reality that a B Segment player which has sales lesser than Mercedes Benz (whose cheapest product is several times more in price) really needs a miracle to make things happen. Not wanting to leave the country and being forced to (because of sheer business sense) are two entirely ballgames.

I have been hearing Fiats cries of revival since the year 2000 now....and yet dont see a change in their sales figures, service standards or brand value.

They will surely have to pull of a miracle..which could be the Panda or one of their top selling cars in Europe..they can last a little longer, after all they are the ones who made a come back with the Palio series..and they are the ones who almost dethroned the guys from HM(Ambi) by selling more number of Premier Padminis.

IMHO, Fiat is full of a bunch of nincompoops who forgot to take Business 101. Forget the sales figures, forget the diminished brand value, forget the abandoning dealers.....When you see a company struggling to have its website up and running for 6 entire months ....you can tell about the level of commitment. Either that, or they are driving into the kurla office without knowing what work to do. I know companies that have about 10 employees but are yet very disciplined about their online presence, and heres a car manufacturer!
