So someone has finally reported it !

Guess the LXi is still the better bet, for anyone who wants to choose their audio setup and wants 14" wheels ..

man what the hell is up with Maruti! Where is ABS and airbags! Just for climate control how do they expect people to buy the Vxi. Also why doesnot Lxi get the same Wider rubber! Is Maruti insane! Each model has different size of tyres with a same engine!

hmmm... I've got mixed feelings on this.

Maybe Maruti should learn something from Hyundai.

Do they expect the Lxi to sell in large numbers by just improving the tail lamps and reducing/eliminating the discounts..

I guess they lost a golden opportunity.

I firmly believe that even at 5.79L exshowroom in Delhi, Baleno is great VFM..

But only iff.. they had made substantial changes with the same price tag, they could have cornered a large share between the C and the C+ segmant cars. The monthly sales figures could have zoomed..

On the other hand good news for the existing owners(like me - they won't face as much depreciation/less resale on their vehicles.

hey guys, I just went to a Maruti dealer yesterday and got a good look at the new LXI and VXI models.

The only change in LXI is the color of the back left and right indicator light plates, which have been changed from orange to white. Believe me, it looks worse !!!

In VXI, they have provided Auto Climate control, Wider tyres, MP3 / CD player and the same back light changes. The rest of the changes are as before.

I guess still it makes sense to buy an LXI and modify it accordingly and it will come out cheaper than the VXI.

By the way, could someone tell me what EXACTLY is the difference between climate control and standard air-conditioning ? (I guess the only thing is you don't have to switch the AC on and off again and again. The computer does it. Am I right ?)

In a climate control A/C, You can set the cabin temperature as per your liking....

by the way are you sure these are the only changes in the baleno?? and the new baleno is already out?? the site doesnt mention anything....

i would have loved if maruti had kept the rear boot design same as altura for the baleno sedan... same tail lights, same styled number plate slot, similar bumpers etc etc... would have been much better ..what say??/

Yes, thats right OLD BALENO not the new one since he was getting additional 10,000 discount on old baleno. The net amount he had paid id Rs 5.50. That is surely Value for money, what do you guys say ??
