Its been confirmed that the NECB and FCB will have a combined meet this November for a Dhamaka.

Spotted two Cousin NEs today. The regn number of both cars say that the are almost of same age! An two more NECB cars are also of same generation!!

By any chance, did you get a chance to meet the owner of RED NE - 4037, looks like the pic was taken when the car is parked.

The owner had parked the car there to visit the graveyard nearby. hence did not talk to him.

^^ Oops, But the mod done on the head light is really good. It really looks awesome.

Looks like there is a bit of mod done on the bumper by attaching old M800 indicator light on it [which used to come on the front bumper of M800]. Correct me, if I am wrong.

Yes, there are a hell lot of NEs and Fiats bearing the Ka-05-M-XXX numbers. I wouldnt be wrong if I have observed/noticed over 60-70 of them in this year alone on the streets.

Dear Folks,
I badly need a few spare parts for my 118NE, to name a few:
1. i need 3 door handles (to open the door from inside).
2. The drivers seat lock (to open from outside).
3. My AC needs to be fixed (probably this will not be tough to get done).
4. Right side rear view mirror, (and left side required ? )
5. back left side door, window is jammed (channel is broken it seems)
Where can i get these folks? My mechanic advised me to go hunt in the shivajinagar 'gujaree' , any veterans can help me out/guide me ?

If the parts are available new then fine.

Or else, you need to call Nadeem of Gujiri at 9845080113 and ask him if any NE is scheduled to come for breaking. Tell him to call you if a NE is coming or else daily you call him in the evening and ask.

If its one or two parts he can pick it up or else you need to go to gujiri early morning at 6 and request for parts.

You NEED to go through this trouble if you own a CLASSIC car.

Greenday, i could not understand the logic of going there early morning 6am ? why is that so ?

Just one more thing, my cousin brother was telling me, that if we are not careful and dont have an understanding (in terms of prices), the people are the 'gujiri' will rip us off and fleece us. Dear Greenday, and other TBHPians, please provide me with at least a tentative figure of how much these parts may cost (a range would do), if i purchase them from the 'gujiri': upto what amount it would be reasonable?

At 6am the gujiri guys start breaking the cars. Except for the engine and gearbox, all other parts like the ones you need at broken and thrown in the pile of junk to be weighed for scrapping.

So parts like door handles, are just thrown away. So if you want such parts you need to be there as they are breaking the car and take the parts you need. By 9am the car is completely broken.

Nadeem is a gem of a person. He never charges more to anybody. Tell Nadeem you are from Fiat Club and Arun/Karthik has sent you here.

The cost would be like:

1. i need 3 door handles (to open the door from inside). Rs. 100
2. The drivers seat lock (to open from outside). Rs. 100
3. My AC needs to be fixed (probably this will not be tough to get done).
4. Right side rear view mirror, (and left side required ? ) Rs.50
5. back left side door, window is jammed (channel is broken it seems) Window channel is available new I guess.

The Maroon NE is spotted near Bhashyam Circle - Sadashiv Nagar and the White NE is near Karthik's house in Sheshadripuram.
