Hello,

You relative can expect Rs. 1.6 to Rs. 1.6 lacs for her 2006 WagonR Lx with 70,000 kms on ODO.

Thanks,

re: The "USED" Car Price Check Thread. (Online tool : Page 1)

I am thinking of selling my TN-07 registered 2007 October Civic 1.8V MT. It has done about 57K km. Single owner, two drivers (my wife and I).

Generally the car is in good shape. Exteriors are clean, interiors well-maintained, has aftermarket Michelin tyres and Amaron battery. No accident in history.

Complication is that I have been moving around, so service history is split between six HASS (only them) in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore.

What would be a good price to sell? Also, can anyone recommend a good used car dealer in south Chennai who would be interested in picking up this car at a fair value and honest process?

I currently drive a 2010 Dec Fiesta Diesel SXi (pre calssic model) which has run 32000 kms.

One of my relatives is selling his i20 CRDI Asta Dec 2012 for 6.5 lakhs.

I have the option to sell my Fiesta and buy the i20. Except for the lack of boot, I think the i20 is a better car in all respects.

What would be the best price for both cars?

Planning to upgrade my Swift Vdi to an SUV. The Swift is Oct'11 (new) and has run around 48k. What would be an ideal price. The car is in excellent condition.

A three year old Swift would fetch around 3.6-4 lakh depending on the condition. You can get a better price if you sell it to an individual rather than a dealer.

Oh, is it. I was of the opinion that Diesel swift's have great resale value. I thought I should get around 5 lakh minimum as the current price is almost 7 lakh. Just saw your location as Bengaluru. Are the resales so low there.

Just the opposite, the used cars are probably more costlier in Bangalore than anywhere else in the country. We pay a lot more for the new & used cars.

I am not sure of the 2nd hand car market at your place, but considering that the new one costs 7L, and yours is the older style (or is it?) with the newer swift being launched in early 2012, you should get around 4L. I may be completely wrong with my assumption of the new model, but if yours is a newer model then you can expect little higher price.

How much can I expect for a Hyundai i10 Magna 1.1 iRDE, purchased 2008, run 30K? Car is in excellent condition - interiors and exteriors.

I was on the lookout for a used i10 Magna sometime back and saw a few 2008 models in Mumbai. You can expect a price of 2 to 2.5 lacs for your car. Since you have mentioned it is in excellent condition, i dont see getting 2.5 should be a problem at all.

Swift commands good resale value in the used car market. And yours being a Diesel can fetch anywhere in the range of 4.4 to 5 Lacs.

@getsriram, are you planning to sell your car? I'm in lookout for a used car. Please PM me your fair price. Both carwale and t-bhp valuation tools throws up price starting ~2.3L. May be we can also wait for the gurus here to respond.
