A friend of mine is considering a dealer sold car in Baroda, details of which are given below:

Vehicle: Toyota Corolla Altis, variant: 1.8 V AT, Reg'n month/year: August 2011, Odo reading: Approx. 45000 kms, vehicle condition: Good

Dealer is not budging below 4.5L. Does this seem like a reasonable price? If yes, my friend will get the car evaluated by a trusted mechanic and also from a Toyota ASC.

If the car has genuinely done 45k kms, it is a good price.

I am not sure if this is the 2008-2011 Corolla with the ZZ engine and 4 speed AT or the new 140bhp ZR engine with 7 speed CVT.

I got an offer for a sparingly used 530d M sport. Manufacturing is July 2016 and the car has done 16000km only. I maybe able to get it for 38-40L. Is this a good deal and what are your thoughts on this peeps?

This is F10 so negotiate for more and try to get it for 33-35 if it has 5/6 years warranty (BSI+ would be icing on top) and in mint condition.

I want to change my car from my 2012 Figo D which has run 76k km and have found a nice brown 2015 28k km global Fiesta Titanium+.
How much do the experts reckon should I bargain for the Fiesta, it is priced at 7.5L and how much is the market value, being that the car is now out of production.

I think (not sure) it might be the 7 speed, as this Sept 2011 car has a 7 speed CVT, while the car my friend is considering is a Aug 2011 manufactured one.

Yes F10. Does not have BSI and 5/6 years warranty package for sure. The car was purchased in Mar 2017 although it was made in July 2016. He's asking for 45 . He might settle for 38-40 since he is a friend.

Well, that makes it just one year old car practically. You will need to buy the warranty separately so that will add to the total cost. 38 should be a decent price then. But do keep in mind that few years down the line F10 will seems to be too old a model compared to G30 and that may affect the resale value.

Asking price is too high for a 5+ years old prestige variant which misses out on many feel good features.

12-14L would be an appropriate range for a car in good condition. Also, as the car will be out of warranty one will need to get it checked thoroughly for condition of suspension, steering, etc.
