Milkon - great thread and I'm following with avid interest.

Got a white TL TDI a month ago, planning to start the mods only after I finish modding my apartment (home office orders), but enjoying the drive even stock as it is.

What Mods have you thought of by the way?
Please put the ownership report. Would love to get some ideas.

I'll wait for a year before starting as mentioned earlier

- Alloys and tires for one
- upgrade speakers, but the Nippon double din HU they gave me is fine.
- Not decided if I should go for a tuning box or remap the ECU
- Projectors/Angel eyes lamps, but need to do a lot more research on the look I want for the lights
- Honeycomb Grill like the GTi/LED foglamps/the rectangular ones and maybe some DRLs
-tempted by height adjustable suspension TEIN/BILSTEIN, but thats a long way off
I shouldnt have taken the extended warranty!!!

ODO Meter Reading : 26000 + Kms
Age of the Car : 10 months
Mileage : 15 to 17 kmpl (in city and type of driving)
Verdict : I'm loving it

Additions : HID kit (6000k) and DRLs
Location : Bandra, Mumbai

WOW, thats some serious kM you have covered.

Are those DRL 1.5v ones , because they look really bright, and also did you put the HID in you existing headlamps or got projector for these.

Which brand are these DRL and HID ?

I'm not aware whether they are 1.5v or not. They are normal DRLs. Yes, the brightness is there due to 5 sec exposure of the camera i suppose

Yes, the HIDs are in the existing Headlamps. I'm planning for projectors soon. HIDs are from P8.

We might be on the hunt again. Preferably on the express highway, well before the toll gates. Would you be interested? A Civic would look nice among the Ventos

Could you please elaborate on the HID's you recently installed in your ride? Also, any issues with warranty because of the modification?

By the rule we shouldn't. But then there can be spots found - like the ccd outlet on the other side (towards Pune) or the Ravet - Dehu Road section and so on.

Oh how I wish I would be in Pune with my Black Night . by the way had mine serviced last weekend at Vidyut. Quite a good experience except for the last bit where their credit card machine failed and I had to pay them in cash. I am surprised that they did not have a backup for an agency so large.

They are from P8 (6000k). the bulbs were replaced with HID bulbs. A must for ventos. There are no issues with warranty as there is no cable cut involved. Hope this helps!
