Fogs wont give you any distant visibility.
Thanks sajjt for the inputs.
Blazers have already been ordered and it's in transit now.
I'll be using fog lamps for fog condition only, In my native (Chikmagalur) most of the time I face dense Fog , hope blazers serve the purpose and give desired visibilty.

Also do not plonk a HID on high beams as you will be missing the flash function whiled doing so.
Yep. correct. That's my only concern if I go with the HID's in High beam.
Hid's take a couple of seconds( around 5 secs to light up & 10-15 secs to come to their full capacity)
That's why I have mentioned I may even consider the upgraded bulbs(100/90 wattage) with wiring.

BTW, where did you get the Mori moto projectors? and how much it will cost? AFAIK, its one of the best Chinese projectors solely promoted by the theretrofitsource.com.
They are the best VFM projectors right now.
I'm planning to get this from USA (TRS) or get it fitted from the Cochin guy(liteessence).

Now in a CIVIC, If i'm putting the BiXenon Projectors in low beam assembly, When I flash the headlight(for pass signal) will the projector high beam glow (Ok I hold the pass switch for around 10secs) ?
If that's the case then looks like I have to put a Time delay switch.

I have read somewhere, HID bulbs should not be turned on and off frequently , this reduces the life of the bulb ( though bulb life is pretty high 10000hrs ??)

Right, HIDs will take 5-10 secs to come up with the full brightness depends on the brand you are using it. But it will ignite instantly for a moment once you switch on then again it go back to the stabilization stage. I guess its a typo that you've mentioned 100/90W as it denotes dual beam and for you it will be of 100W.

Its just a bolt on job by your local accessory shop guy can do it, no need to come over here.

On a Quad setup normal cases it will not light up Bi-xenon as once you hit the flash switch, it will trigger the high beam bulb relay and when it comes to a bi-xen projector high beam is activated by lifting the shield as the HID in the projector will be always on once you switch on the low beam. So in day time when you try to flash, it will just lift the shield in the projector only so there's no flash from projector but once you switch on the head lights you'll have two high beams for flashing.

Any time you can by pass this with just a wire loop, so any time you flash the HID will also try to flash but you how effective it will be. And as you said earlier HID capsules need a cool off time (30-60 secs) between each on/off cycle for the benefit of its life span.

Hope this helps.

I meant 100/90 Halogens.
I'm sure 100W HID would fry my holders(if not ceramic) and reflectors in a long term usage.

By the way thanks for the inputs, they certainly help.

Re: Projector Headlamps for VW Vento

I may be missing something here, but for fog, yellow light is better as it can pierce the fog and hence aids visibility. HID's give a brighter light, yes, but due to the white colour, they just bounce off the fog and hence do not aid visibility in foggy conditions at all.

Dude, you can get HID CTs from 3K which is more yellowish. Just google for the color temp chart.

@Naveen,
Thanks for posting pics, I hope parking light in yellow looks odd. Either having white one or none makes little better?

True. But somehow I didnt like the DRL's as seen here. Kinda lacks quality. I really liked the simple projector ones that I had attached earlier.
