will it look good on my alto? i have those rain guards on the windows. i hate them but had no other option. during the rains the water drops used to fall on the tweeters and component speakers. i put them to safeguard them from the rains.

Yes, it will look good. As for the rain guards, try getting black colored ones or just have them removed until rainy season.

for some reason i always hated rain guards. and for rainy season, open the vent to air from outside from HVAC.
just removen them and paint the pillars.

Monty! Great looking ride buddy and BBS what happened to your mods ?

Hardly visited the forum for some time now and it seems much is going on here in this thread of alto rides. Keep it going brothers ! I am myself planning to have a wider throttle body and should plan accordingly.

Hi guys,

Got a basic question about installing a new air filter ..... does it affect the servicing schedule or servicing costs? My car is beyond the warranty period.

Can I still give my car to a standard authorised Maruti dealer for routine servicing?

yes you can very much give the car with MASS people. just make sure you have the do not open sticker on the air filter box. and mainly specify in BOLD in the job card that do not clean the filter. otherwise those idiots will blow pressurised air onto the filter and damage it.
if its a stock replacement filter you are planning then while going to the MASS u can put the stock air filter.

the servicing schedule or costs remain unchanged.

Fog Lamps

A DIY concept is surfacing in my mind since many days.

Can we use some nice big fog lamps to be fit into Alto's bumper.. The kind of fitting done for the evo's.. Has anyone tried that already? Are there any bolt-on kits available? I have attached a pic from tBHP member sideways thread just for reference..

I have been looking for stock fog lamps for my Alto. MASS says that they are no longer available. I found a set in JC. Road here in Bangalore, but they looked too tacky to fit into the existing space in the bumper!

Would be glad for any inputs on this!

Cheers,
gpa

Hi Chetan,

Can you let me know which dealer was this in Bangalore? Am planning on getting one fitted on my car. Funnily enough, wanted this when I bought the car last year, but the dealer offered me a fre teflon coat rather than the lights.

Thanks in advance,
gpa
