Please suggest an upgrade for my stock headlamps.
you can upgrade your headlamps to 100/90 bulbs and get a relay/ cutout with it. or you can get HIDs.

Hey Akshay, do you know anyone who has tried this before? Because I was told that the reflectors can't handle the heat and may change colour. I am running 130/100s on my Esteem and don't have any issues but with the Civic, I am not too sure. How about the bulbs that offer more light at the same wattage? I think Philips and PIAA make those.

infact HIDs consume only 35w and produce much less heat.

I Am Using H1 And H7 In My Fiesta (crystal Vision)60/55.its Good In The City Drive Only In The Highway Its Not Good Enough. I Think 100/90 Will Be Good. More Than That You Will Spoil Your Head Light

Hi Guys,

I own Palio 1.2 Sport. Wanted to change my low beam (outer headlights) to Phillips Vision Plus. The type of the bulb that my car uses is :- H7, 55W. Yesterday I visited one auto shop and asked him about Phillps VP H7. To my surprise he asked me which car.....

Does it really matter which car I own? I need H7 55W bulb thats it... Why these guys keeps asking about car make and blah blah blah.... Or does it really matter?? BTW anybody knows where can I get Phillps VP H7 55W in Pune.. I searched a lot but did not get any..

he was just interested in what you drive probably LOL. there is absolutely no difference in the base of a bulb between cars when one says exactly "give me H7, if it does that will be more confusions in the world of headlamp bulbs.

Hey joe,
As far as I know, they are the same dimensions. I haven't tried replacing the head lamps, but I have replaced the orange indicators on my 2004 Esteem (Type-II shape) to white ones from the Type-III shape esteem and they fit well. So I guess they should be the same dimesions.

For a picture of this, have a look at my photo gallery.

Hey akshay,
What alternative do I have if I don't go in for HIDs? Just curious, could you tell me how much HIDs cost approximately ie., 7000k + conversion kit .

Guys, m fed up of searching for Phillips Vision Plus H7 55W bulbs. I stay in Pune and went through almost 20 shops but with no success.. People have kept Crystal vision, Blue vision, Diamond vision but no luck with Vision Plus. After so much of search I got Vision Plus but that too in H4 type. I need a pair of Phillips Vision Plus H7 55W bulbs. Could anybody from Pune/Mumbai area help me finding those?

xenons for laura elegence

hey guys i need to find out if there will be any problems while fitting xenons on a laura elegence? i'm asking this cause the guy who installs them said that the low beam lights on the car are connected to the car's ecm(for the coming home lights and stuff) and fitting after market xenons will be a problem as they will flicker once the car starts and might even damage the car's ecm. . . is this true?? and if yes then whats the solution?? cause i want xenons in the projectors, cause they look coool!!

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me as to where i can purchase H4 & H8 white lights for my Swift? I need them for the headlights and fog lights. I have also seen regular halogen bulbs which give out a similar look and brightness like HIDs. Which bulbs are these?
