Kawasaki will provide the necessary training and parts back-up. Pricing details will be revealed at the time of launch. Industry sources say the bike will be priced above Rs 1 lakh.
They are now just poking at customers in waiting, like us. 'Priced above 1 Lakh' ? how lame can this reporter get?

It could be 100,000 or 499,000? Go figure it out yourself?

No new exciting bike in the 150cc + category to check out ,so took the plunge and went to a Bajaj showroom and had a look at the 200 and 220 Pulsars, The Sales representatives themselves hinted that the bike is already getting a make over this month itself and that the 220 is being relaunched with 3 model variants. Lets wait and see, what kind of effect kawasaki has on Bajaj so far.

If this is true then we know why this segement is overcrowded and why manufacturers are launching more and more 150c Bike. Mileage kitna hain caterers.

Bajaj is delaying it more and more and more. It is probably recession that bajaj has not introduced a performance bike and for which prospective buyers are paying the biggest price. TIME.

Well in the launch of the 220 Mr. Bajaj has said that the Ninja would be launched within 3 months, exactly the timeframe Straight6 mentioned.

That's good to hear sammyboy. My gut feel is that the Ninja will cost about 3.5-4 L. It costs 4000 USD in the US so if it is a CBU, it should cost 4L.

But even if it is launched at 4L, it will have many takers IMO. I'm hoping its launched at less than 3L.

Straight6 - will it be the 2008 or the 2009 Ninja 250 that will come? The 2009 one looks good.
2009 Ninja® 250R Sport - Kawasaki.com

What is the bikes BHP rating? Mileage is 61 MPG which is 20KPL. Should get atleast 15 KPL I guess.
