Isn't the green thing at the back a seat? It appears to be a green coloured cushion. Thats what I feel...

It is a two seater, just that the rear seat has been covered by a green cowl (a detachable cover). The seat is black. Here is a pic with the rear seat, without the cowl.

The bike looks hot. Now to just wait it out and rush to the showroom when it's launched.

The 2.50L price tag is ex-showroom correct? Gotta plan for this seriously.

Cool! Now I can convince the wife. If the prices are to be believed 2.50 L ex-sh is expensive. Weren't they supposed to localize parts ?

The bike looks cool. I hope it will be somewhere in the range of 2.5 lakhs. The after sales support by Bajaj is yet to be seen!!

Thanks for the pictures!!

I had a conversation with BAL guys last eve - here are some excerpts -

1.Its a CKd not a CBU
2.Price would be more than 2.5L for sure but should come around 3L
3.The exhaust is changed , rear cowl made black and rear cusion coloured green ( the green part is the cushion not the cowl)
4.Its a UK/EU spec 33ps , Fi bike . No changes except the front number plate.
5.No saree guard attached.
6.Could not spot the main stand , only a side stand
7.BAL making minimal profit on this bike so that they do not make a loss.
8.Only in green and black (UK spec colours)
9.People trained in Japan will service the bike.
10.Exhaust note sounded quite meaty
11.The BAL guys themselves ahve hit 160 (on the speedo) on the chakan track

Thanks for sharing the information buddy

Did they tell when can we buy one?

Hitting 160 on Chakan track is good because its not a big stretch to hit such speeds easily.

Well compare it to the 138 they hit on the new 220

Late September bookings starts , deliveries in Oct . Showroom guys might start calling ppl for bookings if you have your name in the list.

Yeah we could barely hit 120+ on that stretch on a 200 but then the bikes were right of the production line Like I said hitting such speeds on the track is possible but will take some time fora new guy to do so safely(Lot of Dirt & some bad patch work)

I hope this booking information is true this time as such claims(by showroom guys) were made earlier too.

This was told to us by the BAL guys who were there just for the Ninja. More over they said that they have personally hit 160-162 and people like us can do more.

The other important conversation we had was how much can we pay for a 10 lap - 250r on the chakan test track ? I said 5k for an hour , take the money now . On this they said we will see how can we arrange such things . As you would know , they had called BN last time , they were thinking of doing it for more people now. But this was just a passing thought.

The pricing of 3L is disappointing. Like most others, I was hoping it would be priced within 2.5L ex-showroom, 3L is a dampner.

Lets hope it sells well. Might think about picking up one next year.
