@deutscheafrikar: Somewhere between 1.5 to 2 lakhs. Ofcourse we are all speculating right now.
Thanks Spitfire,
Whew! then I will not sell my BMW's. Cheaper for me to restore and ride them I reckon.

Just spoke to my mech, he is back from Chennai after getting trained on the "classic 500"

It seems to be a bit complex machine compared to the other Bulls, with FI and ecu this machine is quiet refined it seems... it has got a sensor which switches off the engine if the bike falls...

On the whole the bike is quick and doesnt take much time touching 100, ofcourse he was comparing it with the LB500

Am eager but i guess will wait for this bike to settle down, owning two bulls i know how exactly RE works hehe

FOrgot to mention that the bike comes with normal long silencer, that is because of the norms but the short version of the silcener can be bought from the dealer...

Im surprised they are giving us the FI version. Although it also explains the rumours that the price may be 2L (as opposed to the 1.5L rumour).

When you say 'norms', is that emmission norms or sound\volume norms?

Some of the Bhpians might already know this, but I am posting this for the benefit of others.

Heard from an executive (not sales executive) in Royal enfield that they are trying to release the classic by diwali. If everything goes right we need to wait for a few more days to book it. He also mentioned that a vehicle has already been sent to Royal enfield adyar brand store in Chennai. He was not ready to answer any more on the variants front.

Any idea about the thump ?? I know about the UCE engine, but just cant digest a classic styled bullet not delivering the trademark thump.

They didnt fire it up today, but after a lot of quizzing i got them to let me have thump tomorrow. will click some pics tomorrow. A friend of mine had the luck to sit on one & feel it, he tells me that the handle is a bit wider & when you sit on the bike, you can see the engine heads, just like in the big crusiers, atleast RE gave us the looks for a 1000CC vtwin lol !!! tank is also wider & the whole bike looks lengthier ! We have 350CC in black & 500CC in that weird blue color !!!

hope to experience the thump tomorrow !!!

Is it less taller to be seated on it due to the smaller wheels, or the same as earlier??

Sat Sri Akal Parm.
I own a LB 500, and right now it is parked in my garage in Noida.
I am refering to what is behind the Machismo!

By the way which showroom(in Delhi) has this bike on display?
