well looks like your LB 500 is taking its due rest in your garage.

Yes I agree!
Barely managed 4500kms in 2 years.
I spoke to a mechanic at Ess Aar about this bike. He told me that a bike had come to him for servicing a few months back. He also told me that he has received training on repairing this model. I wonder if This showroom has the bike in the near future. I will get in touch with Ajit(manager) to find out the exact details and post them if it is of relevance.

Hmm, its front tire is dfferent. Possibly indicates that we will be getting the avon's as well! A good sign! My question is what bike is that behind the Classic?

RE might launch the 'Classic' in india as 350 with carb and not the same as export version of 500 cc with EFI!

Is it me or do the 18" rims dont go with the over all look of the bike. It looks like a dwarfed bullet to me. The gap between the front wheel and the chassis downtube looks too wide, as if the front wheel has been kicked out. And the rear wheel smaller and does not look like a good fit with the rear mudguard.

Duh?? huh??

Also the rear wheel looks a tad too high up in the air with an unusual gap, aint it ? Those fenders are not built for 18"

Spitfire : Yes the 18" rear looks like a complete misfit ! :(

The gap between front wheel and chassis looks too prominent possibly because there is no crashguard.
Is it a mandate in India that bikes should have a crashguard ??

I liked the pics of the bike on the RE website. I'd love to see something that mixes the old school look, with some of the new age chopper looks.
The wheel size does look weird in these pics,I have to admit.
