SUBUS the tubeless will only work if there is no TUBE and normally on a tubeless tyre it would always be mention that it is a Tubeless. so please check and confirm

@desideep: I don't know what you mean by "work". I have had these for 6 months now (tubeless tyres with tubes inside them), I haven't seen any issues. I am no real mechie, but the tyre guy said these tyres have better sidewalls etc. - and can possibly hold air without a tube. With a tube, there is no difference - hence he just left the previous tube in.

Hi,

Nice tyres. What is the cost for these?

Regards,
Subu.

I think both the tyres with the exchange came to about 3.5k. The alloys came to about 4.8 with the exchange. (I might be off in hundreds).

Btw, I modified these right off the showroom - So the old tyres weren't quite old.

Thankyou Mate for those kind words, You are welcome anytime

Having said that, Do you own a G2 yourself ?

Cheers & Happing Thumping..

No i wish i had one of those HOGs

My ride is a 97' CI 350 which may mimic the G2 abit
but i think its about time for a revamp/restore stuff
since i am really wanting to make it look stock with those
KB styled mirrors , rectangular turn indicators and trademark shortbottled firing. I go nuts when i think each time for some of stock upgrades.
Any chance of a meet to share opinions soon ? Check PM :)

Cheers
TND

Hi ricky_1605, The rubber on silencer end was totally failed attempt and loss of 20 rupees, Actually I was looking for the sound like old bullet (mines was not very bad) after this I tried the bigger mud flap as well however that looks bad.

Thanks,
Vishal

How much did the alloys cost? Where can I get one in Chennai.

Thanks in advance.

I think it cost around 5-6k for the pair of alloys and 3k for the exchange of tyres. you can get it from Pudhupet - down the road that leads opposite to EA mall.

Hi Guys,

The Bulls are not new to me, I had two RE Lightning 535 during 2004. Then sold it for buying a RX100 and RD350. When collected many other bikes, I wanted to go back to Bull arena. So acquired a lost soul, the Original Royal Enfield from England in a heart transplanted state.

Yes, the one I found had its G2 engine replaced with Crompton diesel engine with proper RTO endorsement. I was thinking of restoring this beauty to its original glory as Powertwin of Team-BHP is the master of brit bikes. My I'm yet once again hitting the wall as before even starting my restoration I'm going to leave the country.

Some of you would have noticed the same bike is placed on Classified section, yes this bull is leaving me sooner than I think.

The very original details of my bull as stated by powertwin:

1955 Reddich Made Chassis (it is hard to find one in future !!( even NOW))
Original Tool boxes
Original Head light Housing
Original front hub
Original front wheel rim
Original fuel tank
Original gear box
Front foot rests & LH fork unit is O.E.

and I think the handle bar and stands are also from British era.

If only my plan to restore this bike pushed to reality, I would have been searching for a Original G2 engine with mag dianamo, mudguards, decals and smiths speedo console.
