I had a recent check with honda dealer here.

bookings were started few days back.
There are 2 variants.
1 with ABS and another without ABS.

ABS model on road will cross 2L.
The other model has this 1.46 ex showroom price.

My cousin is considering this vs an Enfield.

Enfield have a waiting period of 8-10 months now and Honda says just one month waiting period.

From the news on other forums, some bangalore dealerships claim to have 80+ bookings (whereas the supply is only around 20 per dealer initially!).

ABS Model costs - Rs. 1,96,492 on road, while non-ABS costs Rs. 1,67,670.

Considering an Enfield and 250R? Talk about chalk and cheese! (Due due respect to both brands, i just mean to say- their is no comparison. Both are from very different genre!).

I also considered both, Enfield is not worth it as an owner. You will have sleepless nights. Enfield 5C sucks , I read an article in the Autocar April '11 edition that the EFI does lot of misfiring and many customers are unhappy. Also heard that Enfield is stopping the EFI and bringing with a retro-carburetor model
