Yes.They told us they have 80+ bookings now.

Is the 20/dealer figure confirmed?
I didn't compare them.It was for a cousin.
I have one 1985 Bullet still running fine.

But,unless a company grow with new generation and new technology, it doesn't make much sense.
The retro/classic labels won't last long.

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

Visited the HONDA showroom today, the Non-ABS one is 1,50,000 and he ABS one is 1,99,000. No other details were available, no brochures, no display vehicle and no clue about the date it would be available

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

Guys, what is your opinion of the horrible & pathetic after sales service of Honda two wheelers ?

For me, the experience of servicing my Dio is really pathetic. Could it be a deal breaker for the CBR ?

Especially in Bangalore where there is such a large number of Honda scoots, is there any plan of having a seperate outlet for the CBR ?

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

@tommie
Seeing how you are a big made person , the cbr250r will look like a kids cycle for you as you say the ninja 250 itself looks small for you.
The ninja is a little bigger than the cbr250 as it is.

Well its choice you have to make whether to go for the best 250 cc bike in the country as of now or wait for an alternative from suzuki/yamaham etc in about 2 years time which might or might not be better bikes.

But to try and blame honda for not giving you a better bike than the cbr250r right now seeing how the other companies are not even anywhere near introducing a 250cc bike as yet , seems a little naive on your part.

Coming to the CBR , i can hardly wait to see the bike in flesh and blood or rather steel and aluminium . About 10 days to go for that i guess.

Superb video!! The 0-100 figures and top speed seem to be good.

I think it will be very successful considering the void in the segment and the brand equity of Honda. The reviews online are very promising too.

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

Hero Honda was suppose to launch the Magna 250 it was V twin cruiser for 1.8L, but seeing the failure of Kawasaki Eliminator the plan was dropped during 2001-02.
Today saw their big hoarding at Koramangala signal at Inner Ring road that delivery will start at the end of April.I am in dilemma of giving away my LT for this, totally confused.

Pause the video at 1:13 and you would see it mentions, tested with CO-FI Box.

It was probably tuned that way and the video put up for some good limelight.

i agree,i too just noticed it,after someone pointed it.
even i was wondering,as to how come a 26bhp bike is doing 170,when the 33bhp twin cylinder Ninja struggles to do so.
Thanks for bringing it up.

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

The first "Aling" test ride on a stock 250r . top speed 164 Km

He uses a Fi box only from the second test drive. The one shown above is Test 4 as you can see from the title.

Re: Honda's 250cc Bike : CBR250R!

HDFC Bank is offering me a special loan to buy CBR 250 R. First they made this offer by email for HD bikes, which I ignored. Then it was for super bikes of any brand, again ignored, and now this! May be next it will be for Unicorn and then Splendor!

Can't understand how they picked me!
