Great looks! Have you considered/enquired about the chrome kit? I was thinking that the chrome front grill cover may enhance the slightly understated looks of the Black without being garish.

I managed a last day booking of a Black W8 FWD. Wifey was fine with any color except red and green. Quite a few days wasted to convince ourselves out of the Cruze AT.

Are you talking about the first already pressed button (not sure what this button is)
I believe there is no dedicated button to close the windows automatically other than the remote. When i told the SA that I wanted to close just one mirror and not both, he told it has to be done manually

Yes this is the button. You have to keep it pressed for 2 seconds for the mirror to fold.

Took this pic from the first page of this thread. So it is a W8.
Request mannubhai to post the same pic from his vehicle.

Move over Scorpio.
The new dadagiri car has arrived.
If its XUV5OO then it has to be BLACK.

That's a cheap trick by Mahindra, never expected this from them that too to a new car.
Is this possible

As far as the hulk and the mean looks are concerned the Scorpio still takes the cake so still the dada. Being subjective, I feel that the Cheeta (XUV) looks are more feminine than the Rhino (Scorpio)

Yes that's the same button to close the mirrors. So it seems that if they have removed this feature from W6, then i guess you can have that added as the button is already there, just need to do some wiring stuff and it should work.

If the feature is removed, the button will be gone too.

Yes that could be possible. As for W8, i think you can fold the mirrors but one at a time from inside the car, that is the reason that button is there. Maybe what that SA wanted to say was that if you have to close both the mirrors together, then it has to be from the remote. I dont belive what SA says. Infact my SA said that W6 does not have lumbur support and then i found the knob on my own and checked that it did have one

Looks majestic in black!

As we all were discussing at the launch time, black is probably the best color for the XUV 5OO. Waiting for your detailed ownership thread. Enjoy!
