Thankyou for the link Rajiv. I had a word with orchis before i had posted here.
They seem confident about the work but i am not too sure since it can hamper a vital safety feature. So wanted to know if anyone else has got such seat covers done in their ecosport.

I would advise you not to go in for seat covers. Like you said - it is not worth taking a chance on compromising a vital safety feature.

The idea behind airbag compatible seat covers is that they have specially weakened seams to allow the airbag to open (erupt might be a better word than open, given its explosive deployment).

So, ask them, how these are designed, how they work, how do they test them specifically for the EcoSport. And then see if you're convinced they're giving you meaningful answers. Also, ask for any testimonials - are there any customers who've had an airbag deployment?

A safer option in this case is the OEM seat covers (Air-bag compatible) available at the Ford dealership.

They have only one design option though, hence was looking for aftermarket fitment opinions.

Changed the headlight bulbs yesterday - DIY.

Unhooking the clip that holds the bulb in place took some doing but after some sweat, got the hang of it. A younger pair of eyes may have made light work of it but unfortunately one can't change them into more powerful ones like headlamp bulbs.
Did a (very) short run last night to try them out. It looks as if they are a touch brighter and whiter but a longer night drive is required to get a proper impression.

After being disillusioned with the Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited, due to light being scattered everywhere, I upgraded to Philips X-treme Vision +130%. It was not available in India, so I had to buy from http://www.powerbulbs.com/product/ph...on-130-h4-twin

There is a huge improvement in the beam and brightness over the Nightbreaker unlimited.

Direct swap which you can do on your own. That's because the bulbs are same wattage as original bulbs therefor no change in wiring/relays/holder needed.

Same wattage but they use some premium materials/technology to give brighter light. The 110% better light is mainly marketing spiel.

Bulb life is also reduced, since they run 'a more aggressive remap' - in our jargon

Thanks. I also intend to change fog lamps bulbs to match the whiter colour of these bulbs. Any advice?

I have a pair of H11 Philips Crystal Vision Ultra fog lamps that I am yet to find time to fit. Changing the foglamp bulbs is not as easy and I'm being lazy. Need to find time and change them one day.

You could try to buy those or look for some other H11 bulbs.

Both of the photos are of high beam or are they different? The Xtreme vision doesn't have a clearly defined cut off at all assuming both photos are low beam.

Both are low beam. Yes, the cut off is missing. A few days ago at a tight crossing the guy coming across was screaming at me to use the low beam while I was indeed on low beam.
