By seeing the exteriors I presume its a 1.2P Ambiente variant. Looking forward for more pics this Sunday. I would also love to see a pic of the dash at night with the lights on.

Aspire owners: Is there any differentiation between the a/c controls on the Ambiente and Trend variant, like chrome inserts etc? Please do share pics if feasible. Thanks in advance.
Thank you.
It's ambiente petrol.
The car is silver and the front grill and the boot strip gels perfectly with this color.

There is a difference in the ac knobs of ambiente. I have I have listed out all the differences, with pics, in my first post. Check it out.

So did you bend and look beneath to check for the Anti-roll bar?

The would have been surprised as you would one of the few who would bend down to check the car thoroughly.

What's the update on the anti-roll bar issue from Ford side?

All this was cleared yesterday. None of the manual petrols have the anti-roll bar. All other variants do.

So I didn't have to bend down and check. But I did click snaps of the underbody. Posted on the previous page.

Many congratulations. After all the turmoil of the past few weeks, I hope a new leaf has been turned over and you have an uneventful ownership experience.

Ha ha, the proximity of that metal pole next to a new car made me feel uncomfortable!

TBH, its hard to say. After you've run the car, the cooling system gets pressurized, so the level changes. If you open the coolant cap (not radiator cap!) you'll notice violent bubbling as it de-pressurizes.

Its best to check if it falls between the min/max levels after the engine has cooled down fully. TIP - use a permanent marker to mark the min/max lines in colour. Its very hard to see them otherwise, since its just extruded plastic of the same colour.

Ford Aspire : Official Review-20151101_203105.jpg
This was taken 30 min after the car was parked indoors after getting wet in the rain. Shouldn't the water have run off more if the body was freshly polished.

I have a doubt whether they have actually polished the car before delivery.

Thanks arun. Even I hope I never have to contact ford cc again. Maybe once to ask for my reward for saving them future lawsuits

First of all congrats on the new sexy lady in your life. She looks sexy in Silver!

As for the coolant level, it's ok. It's not supposed to be filled to the brim. There has to be space for the radiator to give and take back coolant according to engine temperature and working conditions. If you look closer, you should see a 'Max' and 'Min' level marking. As for the looks of it, the coolant seems to be just touching the Max mark which is as it should be. So that's perfect.

Re: Ford Aspire : Official Review

Congrats Samaspire. Silver looks really nice especially after you painted the door handles

You needn't worry about the coolant levels as long as they are within the minimum threshold as outlined on the container.

Btw, what was the OTR cost of the car?

Enjoy and Safe drives !!!

Congrats sam!!!

I think that you are worrying too much about the small bits of the car. Instead, just enjoy it.

Also can you post a few pics of the interiors so as to give us an idea of how it looks like in the ambiente variant.

OTR was 6,24,168 with 5 years warranty. (no essential kit + own insurance)

Re: Ford Aspire : Official Review

My initial impressions on the MID mileage:
50-60 kmph in 5th gear seems to be the magic range - mileage here varies from 22 to 35 while accelerating, and goes upto 66 while decelerating. I was able to hold on to 25kmpl for a minute doing this on my 5 km home run. On long highway runs, this might be way to get the best mileage from this 1.2 petrol engine. (If you have that much self control )
Also, I guess the maximum mileage possible is 99.9

Would be really interesting to see what kind of mileage you would be getting on a long journey.
Do keep sharing your observations.
