Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

McKinsey is handling the allotments as I've been told by my father who's worked at EY and has contacts there. There is no meddling in the sequence as one would like to believe. What I'm fairly interested in is if these turbo petrol can be converted to turbo CNG at a future point in time.

I have two cars booked with Koncept Noida, with OFTs in the 1900 and 2400 series. The former was done on the morning of the 8th, Oct, MX diesel . The latter is an AX5 MT diesel booked via the dealer oney given on the 7th but obviously booked on the 8th, it figures.

Neither are on the first 15k list. Another 15k list is expected by the end of the month. I just spoke to Mahindra CC and they've said that they will take steps for immediate intimidation for people on the second list and onwards, to avoid the mess, confusion and lack of transparency. What doesn't add up is that the lack of transparency continues regardless of whether they're proactive on their communication or otherwise.

Check this video wherein the owner of a CNG conversion company had visited the showroom to checkout feasibility for petrol cng conversion. His initial remarks were that it's possible.

Very nice. Do we have inputs from anyone who has previously gone CNG on this particular mill of petrol engines? If so, what long term issues could we be looking at? I do not fancy the way the govt is raising LPG and CNG prices

I still have time - can cancel the diesel and get a petrol if the general consensus is that it's a better long-term investment. Looking at a previous post with calculations averaging a 1L rupee delta in favor of running costs over approximately every 10k kms, I'd lean towards something more economical any day (So diesel vs CNG is the math I'd love to have if someone could educate me )

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Has anyone who booked an MX or AX3 variant received a delivery date?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Anybody having any clues about adrenox subscription part.
What is going to happen after one or two years?
How do we continue it ?
Is it possible to change the data provider ?

Thanks in advance

Re: XUV700 Delivery Updates Thread

With so much confusion and lack of transparency as far as the deliveries are concerned thanks to "one of the top 3 consultants in the world", this truly does deserve its own thread. From what I've understood till now, the OTF numbers are not national but dealer-centric which makes it redundant as there is absolutely no way to check if they're actually following any order or just doing deliveries randomly (which certainly feels like the case). I have booked a white AX7 L D AT on the 7th of October and I have got no updates yet on when I can expect the delivery from either Mahindra or the dealer here in Delhi.

We're in the same boat, infact have the same variant x color combo. I too have booked on the 7th and don't have any update yet. Also, McKinsey is infact the chosen one of the top 3!
I was being told by the customer care that diesel updates haven't been given yet, but now have multiple examples of diesel folks having a delivery date. Infact, if someone could post their delivery date and otf for diesel, that'd be helpful.
I spoke with some M&M folks and the sense that they gave me is that there would be an update given around the 10th for customers who don't have a date yet - I'm not sure how accurate this is. But I'd expect it to be plausible, any further delay and Mahindra would be risking quite significant cancellations.

This could be because of the Dealer entering the wrong email address. In my case dealer had updated the email address incorrectly hance I have not received any email.

Luckily since the mobile number was correct, was getting SMS updates. That too was late though.

Yes, exactly same happened with me.. it was a random email address consisting of my name and random numbers @gmail.com.. I finally created that email id and forwarded all emails to my correct email id
