This is the problem with infotainment systems of Kia and Hyundai. I have this same issue in my Seltos and now also facing the same in my new Verna. All my friends complain that they can't enjoy the music when they are sitting at the back .

Is this true and does all models have this type of uneven at the very bottom of the car?
Congrats and welcome to the family of Verna owners.

As far as the coating goes, yes, it's there even on mine. The reasoning is also correct. It's a rough patch on the underneath part below the door sils

Thank you so much, initially I thought there might be something wrong with the paint job. I was wondering how does this coating actually work

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Hi folks,

Zeus recently (right out of delivery showroom) is protected with Avery Dennison PPF. The black color needs the PPF protection as it gives peace of mind for maintaining it pristine. Upgraded the tyres to Goodyear Assurance Triplemax2, 205/60/R16s. Replaced all halogen bulbs with Leds (reverse light, indicator bulbs, license plate bulbs, boot bulb) too.

I am also planning to change the halogen bulbs. What are the bulbs that you used? Also, please share some pics with the performance of the LEDs (indicator, reverse light) if possible.

The T10s are Philips, the PY21W model for indicator bulbs, T15 for reverse bulb, festoon bulb for boot area are all purchased from Autobahn India.

One pic for reference is attached.

Coating was done on full body and all glasses. I am happy with the outcome. Claimed life of coating is 7 years, I would be happy even if it lasts 3-4 years.

Re: 2023 Hyundai Verna Review

Hi fellow Verna owners,

Do you find any screws like these

in between the DRLs and the front bumper or between positioning lamp and front bumper?

Hi DrNaren, looks fabulous! What is the height gain with Lenso wheels? I see your car sitting nice and high with them.

There is no significant difference. I upgraded to 225 45 R17 tyres.

Thank you, I'm looking for options to raise the car height by at least an inch. The front overhang is scraping on ramps, at times.

Long story short, I had to cancel the Jimny and go with the Verna because I needed a car yesterday, with today being too late. I got a call from my sales executive that the car is in transit and I can have the car next week.
I saw that your booking is through "Koncept" auto. Now I am getting scared as they also have a Mahindra dealership in Gurgaon (Delhi-NCR), and I have a booking for Scorpio-N through them.

Now, I will be careful. Thanks a lot buddy for highlighting this matter.

Might be OT but I never thought I'd hear a petrolhead say something like this ever. Has VAG threw the baby out with the bathwater with their India 2.0 and all or has Hyundai caught up and ready for a seat at the enthusiast table?

Hyundai N-line cars are launched every year. New Verna N-line should hit the roads in few months. I am just waiting to swap the suspension .
