I don't think I can help you out, as I'm preparing for a trip to the US in 10 days. When I went to the Shivajinagar gujiri in B'lore recently, one guy offered me a pair of Lamby side panels, quoting 2K for the pair. Pretty expensive, but just thought I'd mention it to you. I don't think he'll sell only the right-side panel like you want. If you have someone in B'lore who can negotiate, buy, pack up, and ship the panels to you, that would be great. I may only be able to point you to the guy/shop who offered the panels.

Can anyone tell me how many number of Lambretta's Series 1,2,3, Vijay Super mark 1 and 2, Cento, were manufactured in India, or atleast where can i find this info please?

I came across this site selling recycled Lambretta Lights converted into these cool lighting fixtures, they have one for vespas too. Maybe somebody on this forum with experience in Import can import these en- mass for us enthusiasts.

Even if he doesnt come down below 5k, I would suggest you buy it if the scooter is complete! Trust me, I had to buy one also without papers (albeit a '61 Innocenti series 2) for nearly double this price! I've decided to keep it as a spares donor, as its quite complete, except the front mudguard is from a Bajaj. I recently realised it even has a Carello headlight!

In my 1965 Li-125 Lambretta's RC book the power is mentioned as 1HP !
Or is it 7 whose head vanished in time ?
