Nice to see a new car in the club - what model is it, Padmini or Delight? And who is the owner?

Very neat SS there!

Here is something interesting and a rare sight in Bangalore.

This Super Select is owned by a aged Parsi couple who stay very close to Arun's house. The car is from Bombay and re- registered in Bangy. I will ask Arun the original number. This too is a daily drive car.

Looks really neat, do share more pics when possible.

Here is a 56/57 Dukkar in Bombay that has been at the same spot for decades together, a familiar sight in Bombay.

Chauffer drive SS

When I was a kid my dad had a car like this for a few years. It was nice to see this fiat, with the boss sitting in the rear seat. The car was in good condition the photo doesn't do it justice. I had difficulty clicking the photo with the phone and unfortunately could get only one.
Cheers

That car has apparently been spotted in Bandra for decades. Looks neat.

Found this 1971 Delight with a guy, 2nd owner, the car has incerdiblilly low mileage on her. The previous owner a Cournel maintained her like a baby and gifted to the present owner. The car had A Tamilnadu and a Andhrapradesh registration in her life.

manishji,
I think you must have meant an officer of ''COLONEL '' rank.
Cournel means ''kernel"' or ''central core"" (if i am not mistaken)

Nice car indeed though the light fittings are of UNION make.(full plastic). BTW is that internal rear view mirror a rare item because i find it almost in all the cars scrapped here and never thought that its rare. Do state its rarity so that i can pile up the same

This type is original for delights, it not rare now but down the line will be hard to find.

What a beauty, Manish.. And to think she was gifted .
Dear Lord, when will I find such a benefactor ?
Very nicely maintained and original car, with those elusive aluminium side trims and aluminium hub caps.

Very, very nice Fiat 1100D. Thanks for sharing, Manish. But I seem to detect, and I hope I'm wrong about this, some neglect beginning to show. The car is missing something, despite having it all, to be right up there.
