@sagar, fixed ford escort's seats, it has awesome seating comfort for driving. i didnt carry my cam to my mechanic's garage, i took some pics on my phone, will take more snaps once the job is completely done. the other modded fiat belongs to my mechanic, somebody modded the car in weird way, he bought it because of the beautiful diesel engine which is giving 20kmpl in city. will post some of that car's pic in 1 or 2 days

Wonderful initiative Karthik MB. I wish the best of luck for your car and the next year TSD rally participation. You have the right car and the right skills to do it.

Now, off the founders, only Arun's 297 is pending restoration. I know the reasons behind Arun's delay. By the way 297, even though its not running since a year, it is better than many other Fiats already. So one can imagine what exactly Arun wants in his restoration. Perfection it is!

Minor correction! Govindan from Premier Land wouldnt be able to make it up. He is leaving to Chennai on some urgent work. For future meets, his green Fiat would be ready and will be more than happy to come.

A little bit of more would have transformed your car to a better one

Sorry, if i am sounding rude. I am not.

Simple changes can make the car look wonderful.

1) New grille
2) New bumpers
3) Remove all the stickering.
4) Rubbing & Polishing.

Probably 10% of the above bill would be sufficient to get this car to look at its best.

Just my suggestion.

Very true, i was about to call Karthik Makam (Funkycar) about his absence for Sunday.

I had been to his place today evening on some work, saw his Green Fiat, What a mindblowing job done on that car.

Only one thing that i did not like was the roofing, rest others done just great.

Very nice report MB, could have done what Pavan pointed out as well.
Also could have painted the Air-filter and Head-Cover for them to suit yours car's personality.

@P.K. i have stock bumper and grill with me. i could have done that. but i dont want my car to be seen as a stock car. i enjoy every bit of driving in it. and i cant drive this car slowly. once i make my car stock, i m scared to drive in city and park in any parking places. more over my car has lot of dents on it. let it be like this till i restore it completely, i m not much concerned about its external look, but for a performance.
