Sujith, your CAP looks stunning now! Didn't the guide pin come in between the wheel and the wheel cap?

Thanks, the guide pin doesn't come in the way at all. Try making out the difference in height of the FIAT logo and the Bolts from the picture, so the guide pin doesn't hamper anything.

Ahhaa Sujith you have provided us (atleast me) with a good option for the wheel caps. That too genuine FIAT ones. But i think you should have used some sort of rubber washer between cap and wheel nut in order to prevent the wheel cap from breaking.
So you have finally started interchanging the parts among new and old Fiat.

^^ Sujith, the wheel caps look excellent on your CAP. It matches your car color too. See if by any means you can make it a good fit. If yes, get a new set for the CAP

I always wanted FIAT logo on my wheels! No rubber washer are required, they sit perfect with respect to bolts. The Air-Nozzle will be little bit irritating to access. Also the circumference of the cover will be un-even from the rim with at least 7mm clearance.

Its not permanent. Simply time-pass work. Was lazy to stock-up the cover into the Auto-spare loft in my house, so fit them onto my Pamini

Its attractive to most only because the colour goes well with my car, and there is a FIAT in each. I will remove them after my exams. I would prefer half-wheel covers or hub-cover like the 800's or Santro's, etc. I need access to clean my rims always.

Apart for punto's wheel caps has anyone tried the chrome wheel rims which were popular on all cars in the recent past along with the center chrome cap, boy they looks stunning. I've been searcing for them for my PP. Any idea if they are still available. These caps gives the car the different classy look apart from retaining the originality of the rims and hub caps. (not to offend CAP in any regards as the thread is moving to the wheel cap discussion so I felt my post would be ok)

Here is a stunningly maintained 137D by a very very passionate owner Vaitheeshwaran (Vaithi) from Erode, Tamil Nadu. He contacted me from FCB website after knowing there are lot more passionate Fiatians. Pics were taken from a movile phone.

Wonder what those switches are for. It looks like buttons on a calculator. Here is one more pic I missed to update. Seems like he has installed a Autocop.

A neatly modernized and modified fiat i must say. He seems to have passion towards the car and has put a lot of effort and money in modernizing it with such good things.
Karthik bhai the photo of autocop (suspected) is unable to view.

Just spoke to Vaithy over the phone. He is a farmer by profession and grows sugar cane and turmeric. Its not just him, his entire family is a huge fan of Fiats. In total they have 5 Fiats, all are diesel. Some were initially petrol that were converted to diesel with RTO endorsement. He will send more pics of other cars in next few days.

Dash board has been custom made using sheet metal and then the finishing done. A few years ago, it costed him around 9k. Tyres are painted white using the rubber paint. Wheel caps are of Uno. The switches are for different type of horns, music system, fog lamps and etc. He has installed a central locking system. To accomplish this, he has changed the locks to Maruti with push button locking from inside.

Dont know why the pic on earlier post did not get uploaded. Trying again now.

EDIT: I dont know why its not able to show up the picture. After uploading, when I click on the attachment, it shows up fine. After submitting, it shows an X.

It is original for the models that came to market in last couple of years. If I am correct 96-97. I too am looking for this steering in proper condition.
