Goa is what we are hoping. But then, depends on other factors.. Mainly road conditions.

Well thats the reason I had recommended Belgaum, equidistant from Mumbai and Goa and you dont have to get off the Mumbai- Bangalore highway to get to it. The road from kolhapur to Belgaum is simply superb.

OMG super original car! I am not aware of this car as yet.

Is the tail lights and side indicators original or after market ones?

I remember it being advertised on ebay India.

The tail-light lenses would be new ones, they atleast look so. Side-indicators may be original only, AFAIK only the single-piece ones came as repros.

Yeah. The retired bank manager was pretty passionate about the car and wanted to SELL only to a Fiat lover. He feels too old to maintain and to drive it.

Spent close to a full day at the Garage with it to kind of service it. Timing chain, plugs, hose pipes, oils, points, condensor and supension bushes were changed and also cleaned the carb, distributer. Its very smooth now.

It is running a Solex 1061 with a 102 jet. It also has the bag to fill water and detergent for wiper. One of the wiper nozzles isnt there and other one doesntt work. Are the wiper nozzles available in market?

Nice car Karthik !! I have a 1991 Padmini in the same shade with the original upholstry (I can see that the door pads on your car are original). Enjoy !!

The metal type windshield washers are rare. Also the nut to fix them to the body is neither 10mm nor 11mm, it is something between them. So if the nuts aren't present, these windshield washers cant be fitted onto the car snugly and will have to be stuck on with something.

Regards,
Adheesh Parelkar

I will try to get the windshield washers from scrap market then. By the way, it just happened that I got hold of this car. Actually, a friend was supposed to buy. He made the deal, but had to unexpectedly fly to USA. I couldnt resist the car and bought her home
