As Spain was busy pulling out players (doing substitutions), Croatia pulled up a difficult task and managed to survive to extra time. Quite an interesting match. The whistle to start the extra time just blew. Hoping to see an interesting match over the next 30 minutes.

And just as we speak Spain score 2 goals in a short burst in the extra time. This is complete bonkers. From the 75th Minute of the normal time, we had 5 Goals scored in approximately 36 minutes.

Fine margins at this level. Could've been a different game if Kramarić had put his chance away while Spain were still reeling at the start of ET.

Professional and ruthless from Spain after that point. All said, what a game!

The Swiss leading 1-0 over France at the moment. The Swiss look compact and are taking the game to the French. Will be an interesting game.

Hugo Lloris saved the penalty and just galvanised the French team. And it looks like Karim Benzema is finally making it count on the international stage. The first goal scored by him is just pure skill and the finishing top class. Swiss might have lost the game in just five minutes despite throwing the French defence haywire so many times !!

Edit: Pogba magic continues and he and Benzema are having the best time out there for France. Love the Swiss for their tenacity, two of the best matches of this year’s Euro for me tonight. I might just have to eat crow ..!!

Twice in one night! The Swiss have equalized from two down, in the 90th minute!

Edit: Even more madness in the final 30 seconds of added time! Mehmedi nearly through for the Swiss, then Coman hits the bar for France with virtually the last kick. Wow!

What a game! Yann Sommer the hero for the Swiss in the shootout, redemption for being on the wrong end of a 5-4 shootout in 2016.

. Expected Lloris to be the hero but instead Sommer became one for the Swiss. And what a low from being a hero of the World Cup two year’s back to being a also ran for Mbbappe !!
