@amya - thats a comprehensive list you got there, some of them i didn't even know that they existed so close to me! hehe.

Guys, the cadbury shake (CAD-B,CAD-M) near karishma society is awesome. A must try.

Just shifted back to Pune aftes 14months.. suggest a good place for dinner (for a couple), with softish ambience. Hows thousand oaks for this kinda outing?

Bunny 1k Oaks wont have sofish ambience inside but only outside & that would be cold..

(Pune) Friends, I need your help!! Wanted to take some friends around 12 to a place DHABHA kinds where you can carry your own booze and get served HOT tandoori and has to be around Nagar road, Koregaon park basically this side of town this is the criteria.

Please want to know of it today itself.!!!

Actually thats what I thought of it first however I understand from some colleagues that there are many of these kind of restaurants/DHABHAs along the Nagar road but I wanted to know which one is really good and can go there today.

There were a few ahead of ABC farms in KP they allowed you to bring your own booze but the last I did this was around 2 years back so not sure if they still do so..

Tha place is called Basho's. Straight into the small lane at Mundhwa junction.

There's another place very close to Basho's: Carnival. Just before the Mundhwa junction on the right.

nither of the places permit you to BYOB! and if im not wrong, they dont serve tandoori chicken!

Are you sure?? The last time I went to Bashos was a year ago, they certainly let you carry your own booze then.

Carnivl allowed you to BYOB up till a approx a month or two ago some coleagues had gone there around then)

Amya,

you just about covered every category there

.... some of my other favourites, in addition to the ones you discussed there:

1) Rupali on FC road ( they let you sit for as long as you want without people crowding you to vacate....lovely place to sit outside and watch the crowd on FC road)

2) Marz-o-rin - did anyone mention it as yet?
3) George for Biryani on East street/ Kwality on East street
4) Atithi on JM road (somewhere near Shivsagar, I think) for damn good maharashtrian food.
