Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Heavy rains in Bangalore. Like every year, some areas may get hailstorms. There will be many fallen trees.

PS: It has stopped in east Bangalore.

It rained very heavily in Marathahalli area along with hailstorms. It's a sure joy to see such showers after a long time.

Pouring in HSR Layout. People running for cover. It was blazing sunny just an hour or so back. Think many 2 wheeler riders would have come unprepared today. Poor souls.

This was the scene at Kundanahalli Junction today at 3:30 PM. I left office early and drove from my office parking directly into heavy rain.

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

It's an update about yesterday's rain and storm that hit Delhi-NCR really badly. From 5pm onward till 6:30pm there were rains here and as a result there was a major power failure in many parts of Noida and NCR. It badly damaged wires, vehicles and lot of public and private property.

Thanks.

It's raining hard, with occasional winds here in Neemrana.
Back home at Delhi, apparently one should expect storms tomorrow as well.

Raining heavily in Bangalore. I could feel hail stones hitting my car on my way back from work. Heavy and dusty winds, especially near palace grounds, followed by rains. Slightly subsided now.

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Heavy rain at Hosur road-Electronic city. The weaving of tree branches as seen from the windscreen is giving nightmares :O

Water level till the bumper at 2 places in the Hosur road-at NICE road junction and before Kudlu gate.

Thus what they had said about climate change is coming true: climate extremities on the rise.

Well. Either it is the climate change... or its just too many vehicles on badly designed roads without proper drains...

I suspect it is the latter though!
