The food there is amazing , when you order Paneer Masala , you get Paneer Masala, not Masala Paneer , like you do in Bangalore. There would be a lot of Masala and very very less Paneer here.
Biryani's are to die for. Feeling hungry again , just had my Lunch , but thinking about the Biryani's am feeling hungry again.

Wish I could go down to hyderabad for lunch and come back to bangalore to work...

happened to have lunch @ punjabi by nature on rd no 12 ( banjara) today.

it was a buffet thing with lots to choose from.

i stuck to:

starters:

chicken shorba
zafrani chicken
chilly chicken ( with bone ,not that good)
chicken salad
aloo tikki ( after a long time i had a real rocking aloo tikki)

main course:

fish masala
chicken handi
rotis

desert:

ice cream on hot gulab jamun( really well made jamuns)

to add to this was the complimentory drink 'jal jeera' (awesome)

worked out 275 ( with tax) per head.

not bad

Tasted haleem tonight from Cafe Bahar, Hyderguda. It was a bit bland but quite smooth and pretty decent. But, I would'nt call it the best haleem that is out there. For Rs.55 with a 350ml thumbsup bottle, it just about decent

OT : In the eating thread I am writing about music. Apologies!! but
MUSIC World is running a offer : 3 Cds in 99/-
Buy 2 get 1 free on English CDs
Buy 3 get 3 free on English CDs depending on the collection.
Also 20% off on some collections. Try it.
Bought 9 cds for 297/- yesterday.. a steal I would say, though gave English section a miss.

English CD's never come below Rs.399 and buy 2 and get 1 is not that great an offer. Plus Music world sells on MRP and i know an outlet where you get flat 20% off on any CD/DVD's MRP.

Anyways, i hardly buy music CD's these days as i just burn whatever compilation i want from my over 7000 songs collection

That's why did not get any English CDs, though all my 14GB collection of MJ, UB40, westlife, George Michael, Michael Bolton, Peter Andre , Bryan Adams, MLTR, etc are lost due to hard disk crash of my previos laptop. Just got some basic rock collection now. Looking to build that up again.

Is that so bad.I definitely don't like all their songs from a album, but do like to listen some of those. Those songs have their own charm. I am not so hardcore into the hard rock music, though like that too. Suggest some websites from where I can download some. plzz.

Last evening got food parcelled from Hotel Punjab in Abids. This is what we got :-

Paneer Tikkas
Veg Sheek Kebabs
Chole Masala
Dal Makhani
Kulchas/Naans/Rotis
Paneer Pasanda

Total Bill : Rs.500

Pretty decent veg food for that price. But, i am still a fan of their Sp.Veg Thali eaten right at their restuarant. Yummy Stuff.

Rajesh bhai, i am tired of eating out and i wanted to eat at home last night. But, since our cook didnt come and no one in mood to cook had to give in to their demands. As i am the only NV guy at home. So it sort of became a veggie night

Guys, considering that all shops and restaurants are closed today, I guess it is not a good idea to eat outside tomorrow as you may be served left over items of today-----many restaurants resort to this tactic to reduce their losses.
Just my 2 cents.
