You should see Twilight: New Moon. You won't even reach halfway through

all hype no substance, still manages to do very good business. The leads are hot property though.

It's all 'Robert Pattinson' , and I personally believe, girls have bad taste of movies (Maybe not with all, but as far as I have seen. No offence please)

Can anyone suggest me some good movies for the weekend? I have seen all movies rated more than 3 star in the thread. I don't like war/zombie/animated films :-)

anurag - you are wrong about echelon conspiracy.
i would rate it 0/5
Well, I liked Tamara (who plays Kamile)

He resurrected even a lamish kind of zombie movie that i saw recently, not able to recall the name of that one.
Day of the Dead?

I also saw:

HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy: Big fan of the book, the whole omnibus, and the Douglas Adams wit in general. The movie is total unadulterated crap though. Not funny, not true to the book, abrupt and just does not work. Avoid

Rating: 0/5

'The Insider'
Loved it.
Movie is about a journalist(AL pacino) collaborating with Russell who has been fired by his tobacco company and he is going to expose them.
Al pacino as usual is too good however the movie belongs to Crowe. The way he has enacted the desperation and frustration of an ordinary guy against a multi billion industry is incredible.
No idea if he got an oscar or not but surely deserves it.
Must watch.

BTW Harry it based on a true story

downloaded and watched three movies.

1. Up in the Air,
George Cloony. a beautifully made movie about a guy whos company deals in firing people, Its one of the post- recession movie.
Highly recommended.

2. Bitch Slap, three Bimbo starer that i don't know the names of. Don't watch it, its a useless movie by some wannabee Tarantinio.

3. Capatilism: A Love Story. A much awaited latest movie of Micheal Moore, atleast i do wait for his next stint. If you liked his previous work you will like this too. EVen if people thinks he rely on sensationalism, I must say he does his homework good.
A highly recommended movie

PS: 80's sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!. Its a must watch too.

agreed I really liked this movie - maybe the fact that I used to rake up a lot air miles till the recession hit is a reason things are looking up again though

Whoa whoa... Just finished Sherlock Holmes and I luuvvved it. Great storyline and attention to detail. The black magic crime thriller genre is unique and what performances by the leading cast.

4 stars from my side.

Finally finished watching " Bandits" starring Bruce Willis

Its a hiest movie with a twist of comedy. Two robbers out of which one is smart and other is always complaining. Funny combination !

Its a fast paced movie with lot of funny lines. Decent timepass flick

3/5

The Boondock Saints (1999)

A wee bit mindless way of killing people but still works as they are mafia people. I won't reveal the story as it will kill the suspense but i think its worth a dvd buy. 4/5

The Boondock Saints 2

A bit boring compared to first one. this one has less action compared to first but the story is good. In this movie there is some history shown about how saints came to fore. Interesting concept. 3.5/5
