The surprise villain was a real surprise.

They gave the film a more human touch; they brought in emotion. Moon Bloodgood was wasted IMHO and Kate looked like a Cyborg!

Sam Worthington did a good job.

Sammy: I would say its a theater film; T series have to be seen on full screen

It has already hit the Indian theatres on Friday and I guess this movie is completely shot in IMAX.
I am going to check it out on IMAX format soon

Check out The Proposal

Last week, had a chance to watch Proposal. Sandra Bullock, though looks old, had done justice in the film. It was unexpectedly a good romantic comedy and worth a visit, once.

Hope the movie is released soon in India soon.

Terminator Salvation

The 4th installment of the Terminator series continues from the story where the 3rd part ended. This is past the judgment day & in 2018.

The cinematography is nice, some in chopper & in jeep shots (when the chopper & jeep is shot) have been shot well. First Half is nice & fast. The 2nd half is somewhat confusing in some places (We had 3 power cuts during the show, this may be the reason.)

The background theme somehow is very similar to that of the Dark Knight, may be Christian Bale wants to have similar theme is all his movies

3.5/5

Terminator Salvation

Continues where the 3rd part left off - only difference is this one is much much better. Liberal use of CG and some good action sequences are what dominate the movie.

Acting in such a movie is a pretty limited thing and all the actors do a fair job. There is a delicious moment in the end and I feel the next part might be out soon.

Verdict - 2.5/5
- grab some popcorn and pepsi and enjoy the action.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)

Rating (3/5)
Good feel of the 70s. I loved the dry humor sprinkled throughout the movie. Waiting for the new one though. It's already released in the US

Watched the Terminator Salvation at Fame Lido and thoroughly enjoyed it, loved the CyclePod (or is it MotoPod) dropping from the bigger Terminator.

Not sure if Bale was the right choice, but what the heck loved the movie.
3.5/5

Waiting for 'Revenge of the Fallen'.

It was CG man.....and did it rock or what? Very decent movie, better than expectations. Apart from the sound. Guess they were trying to create shocking sounds, turned out to be hurtful in the theater (IMAX-multiplex screen).

Conversely, had high hopes with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Very underwhelming. Did not even like Megan Fox. Good only in parts, music was strictly average, story was average for a fantasy types, action was too fast. Some of the decepticons were cool though. Did anybody notice that the bad guys were mostly european cars? Audi R8 anyone

The Escapist: Psychological thriller. Regular prison break movie till the end where your mind is ripped in two directions

Taken: A rather well shot action movie with a surprisingly plausible plot

The Hangover: Wait for the DVD and watch at home. The theater version is highly censored and not as much fun to watch. Best seen with a bunch of friends

The Orphanage : One of the scariest movies I've seen in a while. Brilliantly shot and crazy plot (that rhymed )

The Last House on the Left : Disturbing movie with oodles of violence, graphic scenes of a rape and ensuing revenge.

Underworld Rise of the Lycans: Not bad at all! Not traditionally a fan of the Underworld series, but smart CGI and crisp cinematography do justice to the Vampire vs Werewolf battle.

Anvil, The story of Anvil: If you've ever been in a band this ones a msut watch. The ups and downs of an 80's thrash metal band trying to strike success late in their life. Touching and inspiring.

The Onion Movie: AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAH *Rofl*

Thanks guys. Saw Angels and Demons and X Men both over the weekend.
As suggested, both in theaters.
Loved Angels and Demons. Tom Hanks is fantastic.THey have really done justice to the book.
X - Men - I love the entire series so no question of not liking this one.
