Jennifer's Body

Watched three movies this week

- Caught up with Megan Fox's Jennifer's Body.

One time watchable. A wee bit gory, but the often repeated story spoils the fun.

Fox is hawt

2.5/5....all 2.5 for Fox only

- Gamer:

A little bit confusing initially, but soon enough get the jest of where the movie is going.
Good technology showoff, a little bit sleek, good action scene and Gerard Butler's act is the saving grace.

3/5

Lucky Number slevyn

Awesome movie. Like the storyline. Full of surprises. Very good acting by Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Josh Hartnett, Ben Kingsley.
Definite worth a watch.
4.5/5

Next up in line
Surrogates
The Rebound
Spy Game

well the movie is shot in such a way that the climax ie Bruce willis getting a pardon from Marcellus is some where in the mid-end of the film.
the director has mixed the sequence of scripts to get a special effect in the film and very well executed i must say.
the finale of the film should have actually come in the mid of the film but the Restaurant robbery scene would have lost its charm if it was anywhere but the final scene.

another movie which people much watch is Requiem for a Dream but Beware it is a gory topic and R rated.
great movie for de addiction inspiration.

Saw Borat again after a long time, controversial but hilarious!! Must watch for some one who has not seen it. Also recommended is the TV series " Da Ali G Show " the cracks are stupendously hilarious.

Review : Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006)

Just saw Nothing But The Truth. It is about a reporter who is sent to prison for not revealing her source. I was really admiring her grit and loyalty towards her source, until the last 10 seconds of the movie.

And then I wanted throw a shoe at the TV for her sheer stupidity. Luckily I wasn't wearing any shoes and the TV is mine. So no harm done. Aaaagggrrrr!

Yeah? I had managed to guess her source much before the last 10 secs. It was a decently made movie, but a stupid base.

I didnt understand this movie and found it to be a big bore. Josh Hartnett cannot act to save himself.

Well Mobike are you serious. As i loved that movie man.

Anyways couple of movies that i watched

The Girlfriend experience:
Its about an escort who acts like the clients gal and her relationship in her job and out of it. Sounds great right? Dont watch this movie. Its slow, got sloppy direction and is aimless piece of bull. The ending is the lamest one i have ever ever seen in my life

0/5

In Bruges:
Its about two assasins who are sent to brugges in belgium after a mission. Collin farell is one of them and he hates the place but ends up falling in love with a Hot gal. Lot of daek humor and its nice but not fast. Spend some time with a couple of beers on a lazy noon kind of movie.
3.5/5

Hunger:
One bloody slow movie about a group of prisoners in british jails. Good reason for the movie but really bad direction which made it look more like a documentary or slower than one. It even shows a guard who sweeps a veranda fully. Didnt understand why he does that! Slow to the core
1/5 just for the point he was trying to put across

500 days of Summer:
Its about a guy whose heart is broken and about the 500 days he spent with and without his gal. Well paced movie with good change in mood settings throughout. Romantic kinda movie so be warned at times
2.5/5 as this entertained me throughout

@nitrous- I am big fan of Quentin Tarantino since I saw the Kill Bill series & then the Reservoirs Dogs. But may be I had too high hopes for Pulp Fiction after hearing so many rave reviews & may be thats why the disappointment. Btw I did love many of the dialogues in Pulp Fiction

Which part you didn't understand?

its basically a revenge saga. Bruce Willis and Josh does all planning of revenge even while remaining at opposite end. that is Josh acts as if he landed into trouble just by being at wrong place at wrong time. while Bruce Willis goes about killing everybody and setting up Morgan Freeman and Kingsley.

I just saw My Sister's Keeper My Sister's Keeper (2009) - it is a very well made movie. Based around how one daughter in the family has cancer and to save that daughter, they have another daughter just as an organ bank!
3.5/5

I agree Wild Hogs is one Wild Ride. I own a blue-ray DVD of this movie and enjoyed Bill Macy's acting the best.
